By the time we got back to Normani's, everybody was tired but me. They always say it's because I'm so young, but I just roll my eyes because there's barely an age difference.

I was going to keep my word to Normani and text Arin about how wrong he was about the entire situation. When I pulled out my phone I saw that I had a couple of text, one of which was completely expected. I knew my mother would start caring about where I was and how I am at some point.

I sat down on Mani's couch and turned on the T.V. while Ally went upstairs to take a shower. My mom sent me a text saying that my new apartment was ready, and that my cousins moved most of my stuff in for me with the help of my dad.

"No way." I said to myself in complete shock and happiness.

I called my mom and we talked for a few minutes, and she said me and Mani were more than welcome to go there for the night to try it out. I told her that sounded like it'd be fine, as I was trying not to completely freak out at the thought of me finally living on my own.

Normani was out though, so asking her isn't really an option.

"I'll just ask Ally when she comes back down." I said.

I texted Arin a very short but straight to the point text message. Not really expecting him to reply at 1 in the morning.

I went over to the text that I had gotten from the unknown number.

'Hey Dinah, miss me?'

I read the text and found so much humor in it. Who would be texting me from a 305 area code?

'So so so much. If only you knew.' I replied back playfully.

It didn't take long for them to respond with,

'You don't even know who this is though.'

'Correct.' I replied.

The next thing I knew I was getting a phone call from the number. I didn't really want to answer because it was getting kind of weird, but I did anyway.

"Hey Dinah," I heard the voice say through the phone, and I automatically knew who it was from the raspy tone.

"Why would you think that I missed you?" I asked playfully.

"Because you do," she replied in that now familiar tone.

"Lauren, what?" I said in a playfully, displeased tone.

"Come over." She replied. "Camila's here."

"You come over. Normani and Ally are both here." I said.

"Three's a crowd."

"That make's four though." I told her in a tone to make sure she knew that I was judging her elementary math skills.

"So you're not coming?" She asked finally.

"Where do you live?" I asked.

"Whitesfield." She replied.

"LOL. That's where my family lives, it's not far from my new apartment."

"You have an apartment?" she asked.

"NEW apartment, want to see it? I haven't been in it yet, and my mom said I could go check it out tonight." I finished.

"What about Normani and Ally?"

"Normani is sleeping and Ally is in the shower." I told her.

"Okay then." She finished.

With that I got up, excited to see my new place. I left Ally a note saying that I had left to go and see my new apartment, and that she should text me to drop by with Mani.
