I have been in school for about a month now. It's been going good. Lucille has not been bullying anymore. I even apologized. She didn't accept it though. She is still a stuck up bitch. Just not a bully anymore. She is even nice to some of the kids she used to bully. Classes are going good, too. My favorite being P.E., because we usually play football. I'm in art class now. In this class, we sit in tables. In my table is Karmyn, Dylan, and me. Dylan is a super cute popular guy. He hangs out with the popular kids, so I assume he is one. He has bright green eyes and dark hair. He is taller than me, shockingly. He is super nice. "For this project, you will work with the people in your table." The teacher announced. We had to create something that had a lot of meaning behind it. Dylan sighed. It's not like he didn't like us, it's just that we weren't necessarily his closest friends. I sighed too. It made me nervous thinking that I would actually have to hang out with him more. I really like him. It's weird, because I like Simon too, but I can be myself comfortably around him. "We can all meet up at mine after school if you want." I offered. They agreed and the bell rang. "Text me the address when you get home." Dylan said to me, handing me a small piece of paper with his number written on it. I smiled and nodded. Karmyn and I headed towards our next class. "You got his number!" She said excitedly. I shook my head. "It's just to work on the project." I said, trying to convince myself too. She giggled a bit more "If you say so." She said, looking down at her feet. We have become very close in the past month. She is actually a true friend. She comes over almost everyday and we help each other on homework and stuff like that. We walked into the locker room and went to our shared locker. It was the last period of the day, P.E. I got changed and went outside, Karmyn right beside me. "Good job on the hustle ladies." Our coach said. All of the girls thought he was the cutest thing on earth. "Goalie?" He asked me. He always put me in the goal, because of my height. I didn't mind, I liked it. Besides, Tobi has taught me everything he knows. I nodded and ran to the goal. Karmyn was trailing behind. We were stretching as we waited for the rest of the girls to come out. "Girls! Today we are going to be playing against the boys! Good luck!" He said and blew his whistle for us to begin our warm ups. We ran around the field a few times and the boys came onto the field. We all took our places and the game began. I blocked quite a few shots. I had just blocked a guy's shot when I was running to grab the ball. I threw it to the coach and turned around quickly. I ran right into somebody. It was Dylan. "Oh, sorry!" I said quickly, rushing past him. "It's fine. Great block by the way." He said with a smile. I nodded and mouthed 'Thanks' as I ran back to the goal. The game ended shortly after, the girls won with 5-0. I can just say that the guys' goalie was utter shit. "Go get dressed and go home!" The coach yelled. Everyone ran to get ready.

"You got a little mud, right there." Simon said as I got into the car. I looked down at my shirt and saw nothing. "Right...there." He said, wiping some mud off of my forehead. We had a moment then. We always have these moments where we kind of just get lost in each other's eyes. It's romantic if you think about it. It was interrupted by my phone buzzing. I blushed and got it out of my back pocket. It was from an unknown number.

?-Karmyn gave me your number and address. It's Dylan btw. I will be over at about 4:30.

I smiled to myself. He was actually going to come, I didn't think he was going to.

M-Cool, see you then.

We pulled into the driveway and I rushed inside. "Wait!" Simon yelled as I ran up the stairs. I turned around and he was looking up at me, smiling. "What's with the rush?" He asked. "Karmyn and this boy named Dylan are coming over later so we can work on this project thingy." I said quickly. "Boy?" He asked. He had an emotionless expression. "Yes, so can you guys act kind of normal?" I asked. He looked confused. "Are we not good enough for you new 'boyfriend?'" He asked, being completely serious. "You guys are PERFECT! I just....just don't scare him away please?!" I asked, giving him puppy dog eyes. "You like him." He said. "No I don't!" I protested. "We will be good." He said with his arms in the air like he was surrendering. I smiled. "Thanks." I said quietly and went to my room. I fixed my hair a little and went back downstairs. I ate something and checked the time, 4:28. He would be here any minute. Just then I heard a knock on the door. I ran to get it, but Vik beat me to it. There stood a very confused Dylan. "Hey!" I said from behind Vik. Vik shrugged and walked away. "Who was that?" He asked as I lead him to my room. "My friend." I said as I opened the door to my bedroom. "FOR FUCKS SAKE SIMON!" I heard Josh yell. I rolled my eyes and just hoped Dylan didn't hear it. I sat down in my desk chair and looked back at him. He was sitting on my bed, looking around like he was looking for where the yell came from. "What was that?" He asked, giving up the search. I giggled a bit. "That was my dad." I said. "Well my adoptive dad." I added. He slowly nodded, I guess he don't know I was adopted. My bedroom door was open so I could hear another bedroom for swing open violently. I looked out the doorway and saw Josh stomp towards my room. "Oh, hey- oh, I didn't realize you had company." He said pointing at Dylan. "Josh, Dylan. Dylan, Josh." I said pointing to both of them. They nodded and Josh turned back towards me. "Karmyn coming over?" He asked as he walked in. "Why don't you come on in?" I said sarcastically as he was messing with stuff at my desk. "And yes, she is." I said. He nodded and smiled slightly. "What project you guys working on?" He asked, picking up a candy wrapper and crumbling it up. "Art." I said. He nodded again and looked up at me. "Have fun then. Keep the door open." He said with a smirk and walked out. I rolled my eyes. I heard some more stomps and there was Simon. Staring at me from my doorway. "Who won what?" I asked. I noticed that someone was butthurt about something. "Fucking Ethan and Tobi beat us in Rocket League." He said angrily and walked in too. "Simon, this is Dylan." I said pointing to him. Simon glared at him. He must have really been upset about losing. "The guy you like?" He asked, turning back to me. Dylan chuckled and I felt myself blushing. "I don't fucking like him!" I yelled, throwing my shoe at him. He dodged it and smirked. "Karmyn coming over?" He asked. I nodded. "Okay. We are ordering pizza." He said as he walked out of my room. I hear the front door open and close and sighed in relief. Karmyn soon appeared in my room. We began talking about stuff we could make in our project.

*Simon's POV*

I got really pissed off about the Dylan guy. She likes him, I can tell. I really like her. The pizza arrived and I yelled up the stairs "PIZZA!" I heard some footsteps and they all came down. Dylan unfortunately couldn't eat with us, he had to leave (sarcasm). We were all sitting at the island eating. "What's with you and Dylan?" I asked. Mackenzie sighed. "Nothing. Absolutely nothing." She said. She seemed a little upset about something. "What's wrong?" I asked her. She looked up at me. 'Later'. She mouthed. I nodded and continued eating. Karmyn left and Mackenzie went up to her room. I knocked on her door and didn't wait for a response. I walked in and she was sitting on her bed. I sat in her chair. "What's up?" I asked. She looked up at me. "I do like him. When we were done coming up with our idea for our project, the subject of the dance next week came up. I don't know how it came up, but it did. While we were talking about it, Dylan asked Karmyn. She said no, because I like him. I guess he doesn't like me. I will just have to get over it, like always." She said with a sigh and laying down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. I walked over to her and lied down beside her. "Want to skip school tomorrow?" I asked. She rolled over to her side and looked at me. "I don't ever want to go again." She mumbled. I smiled and embraced her in a hug. I was comforting her. "Can I tell you something?" She asked, pulling away from the hug. I nodded "I feel like it's wrong that I still like you." She said quietly, looking me directly in the eye. "I still like you too, but it feels right." I said. She smiled. God, I love that smile.
