When I woke up the next morning, Karmyn wasn't in my room. I shrugged it off and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and saw her and Josh sitting there awkwardly. It was silent, but both of them had giant smiles plastered on their faces. "Hey guys." I said as I opened the fridge. "Hey." They said excitedly. "How long have you been up?" I asked as I nodded towards Karmyn while grabbing the milk. "About an hour." She said as she checked the time on her phone. "Shit! Sorry, I like to sleep." I said with a giggle. "Don't worry, Josh kept me company." She said with a small blush. Josh shifted awkwardly before saying. "I've got to go edit a video. See you later." He said as he stood up and basically ran out of the kitchen. "That was weird." I said as I made myself a bowl of cereal. "Yeah...guess what!" Karmyn squealed. "What?!" I squealed, mocking her. She rolled her eyes and more calmly said, "He asked me on a date! I said yes! We are going to the movies tomorrow!" I couldn't believe it. He had actually asked her. I didn't think he was going to do it. "Awesome! I didn't know you liked him though." I said as I took a bite of my cereal. "Of course I like him! He is my favorite of the Sidemen." She said casually as she took a drink of what looked like tea. Her phone buzzed. She checked it and frowned. "I'm sorry, but I've got to go. My mom just texted me and told me that I had to go to my uncle's birthday party. I have honestly been trying to weasel out of this one for a few days now." She said with a small giggle. I smiled. "It's okay. I will text you later, yeah?" I reassured her. She gave a small nod and grabbed her bag from my room and left. I washed my bowl out and ran up the stairs, straight into Josh's room. I barged through the door. He looked up quickly from his editing screen. "You actually asked her?!" I yelled as I sat down on his bed. He put his finger over his lips to shush me. "The guys don't know." He said quietly. "Everyone knew you liked her, what's the use of hiding it?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Good point." He said, sinking back in his chair in defeat. I smirked. He looked at me and his eyes widened. "GUYS! JOSH'S ROOM NOW!" I yelled out the doorway. Vik was the first one in my sights. He ran towards the room. "What's wrong?!" He asked worried. I giggled a bit. "Nothing. Go sit." I said as I opened the door wider. Simon shortly followed. "What did you do?!" He asked, just as worried as Vik was. "What makes you think I did something?" I asked defensively. He shrugged. "You could've broken your other hand or some shit." He said. I invited him in and we were all in Josh's room. "Why are we here?" Vik asked, looking bored. "Josh...and Karmyn....are going on a date!" I yelled. Vik and Simon smiled. "I knew it!" Vik yelled as he stood up and pointed towards Josh. "Knew what?!" Josh asked over all of the 'Whoops.' That were coming from Vik, Simon, and I. "I told you that everyone already knew that you liked her!" I yelled. He sighed. "Okay! Everyone out!" He yelled, standing up an shooing us with his arms. We all piled into the hall. "I've got to go finish editing." Vik said as he waved and walked away. I turned towards Simon "What now?" I asked, crossing my arms. "Let's go on a date." He simply said. I took me a moment to let it sink in. "A date. You and I? A date?" I asked, putting a lot of emphasis on the word 'date'. He nodded. "Not like a friendly outing?" I asked, confirming his decision. He rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand, leading me towards my bedroom. He opened the door and pushed me in. He followed me and pointed towards the bed. "Sit." He said. I did as told and sat down on my bed. I watched as he went to my closet and dresser, searching frantically for something. After a few more minutes passed, he walked over to the bed with clothing in his hands. He layed out what he selected. It was a pair of high-wasted black skinny jeans with holes and a 'SDMN' shirt that was black and blue. He went back to my closet and grabbed a pair of black converse. He looked over the outfit and nodded to himself, pleased at what he created. "Did you just pick out an entire outfit for me to wear to our 'date'?" I asked, putting air quotations on 'date'. "It is a date! And get ready. We are going to go to Nandos." He said as he began walking towards the door. "But I'm not hungry!" I yelled after him, remembering the cereal I just are. "Then we're going to the movies." He said as he walked out. I sighed and looked over the outfit once again. The boy had good taste, not wanting me to dress like a little slut. This is what I wore almost everyday, I guess he liked it. I got dressed in my prepared clothes and slipped my shoes on. I went to the bathroom and began brushing my teeth. When I got done, I plugged the curling iron in and waited for it to hear up. Simon walked in the bathroom. He saw me and smiled. "You like what I picked?" He asked as he picked up his hair gel. "I would've wore this anyways." I said with a shrug as I grabbed my hairbrush. "Yeah, okay." He said sarcastically as he began to fix his usually messy quiff. I brushed my hair and began to curl it into loose, long curls. "I like your hair like that." Simon said with a smirk, looking at me in the mirror. "Thanks." I said awkwardly. It was really hard to do my hair with that stupid cast, but I managed. I opened up my makeup bag and looking inside. Simon was watching me, I knew he was. "You don't need that." He said as he grabbed the bag from my hands. I looked at him and saw a huge smirk on his face. "Okay, fine. But when people start pointing out Mt. Everest on my cheek over here, you're toast." I said as I pointed to the huge zit on my cheek. "It's only a spot. Everybody gets them. And it's not even noticeable." He said while putting my bag backdown beside the sink. I went to grab it, but my hand reached his instead of the bag. "That doesn't mean you can have it." He said. I rolled my eyes and began cleaning up my hair stuff. When I got done, we walked out of the bathroom. "We're leaving!" Simon yelled up the stairs as we walked towards the front door. He opened the door and we walked side by side to his car. He opened the passenger door for me and I climbed in. He closed the door and jogged around to the driver's side. He got in and we left. With that, we went on our 'date'.
