Natasha Romonoff
Sun streaming through the windows caused me to stir from my sleep; the bold rays had burst through the windows, covering the room with a golden glow. I rubbed my eyes before sitting up and getting up out of bed.
As I headed for the bathroom I looked in the mirror at my appearance. My hair was wild and all over the place, the bags under my eyes had considerably lightened up since the previous few nights, and I was wearing Clint’s shirt.
I couldn’t suppress the smile on my face as I felt the soft fabric on my skin – the scent of Clint masking the shirt. I sighed and turned towards the bathroom, the whole situation with Clint was much better than before.
The nightmare had not returned yet, and the over-whelming feeling of grief about my life had come to pass. I realised that I should be happy and grateful for what I have now. I work for S.H.I.E.L.D, who don’t plan on wrecking my brain, I’ve saved the city, I help save people’s lives and only kill for the right reasons instead of wrong, and there’s only one person I can thank for that; Clint.
Just as I went to open the bathroom door it swung open to reveal Clint standing there; with just a towel wrapped around his waist.
“Hey” Clint smirked as he froze in the doorway. The water droplets ran down his broad chest before delving into the towel around his waist. “That shirt looks good on you” Clint’s eye’s scanned over me; I couldn’t help but feel a little exposed in the shirt – it ended roughly mid-thigh.
“Stop checking me out Barton” I teased before sauntering past him into the bathroom; making sure to run my fingers across his chest as I did so.
“Only if you do” Clint retorted, before winking and closing the bathroom door. I stripped out of Clint’s shirt and got into the shower.
Clint Barton
The weather in Morocco was usually warm, but today it was scorching. I was sitting in the kitchen pouring two glasses of lemonade when Nat pondered in to the kitchen.
“It’s too hot” Nat groaned as she fanned her face. I handed her the glass of lemonade before taking a long gulp from my own glass.
“Let’s go to the beach” I suggested, placing the empty glass in the sink.
“Any excuse to see me in a bikini...” Nat chuckled to herself before heading towards the stairs. “I’ll be ready in ten minutes” Nat called down the stairs.
“More like twenty...” I mumbled to myself.
“What was that Barton”? Tasha suddenly emerged in the kitchen again.
“I didn’t say anything, you must be hearing things” I smirked while shrugging my shoulders.
“Don’t make me kick your ass Clint” Nat crossed her arms over her chest; cocking an eyebrow as she did so.
“I think we both know who’d win” I grinned cockily; loving the feeling of teasing Nat.
“I think you’re forgetting who won the last fight” Nat smiled and cocked her head to the side. I then remembered how she beat the Loki out of me.
“Oh yeah...I forgot about that” I chaffed the back of my neck. Natasha then took a few steps closer towards me; just a hand length away before lowering her tone.
“No need to worry Barton, I’m ready for round two whenever you are” She winked and then headed towards the stairs again. I was pretty sure that was code for something, but I guess I’d just have to wait and see - Natasha was hard to decipher.
