That night they went and stayed at a hotel, Evie and Dean taking one room, Sam and Isabella another. The angels went off to do their angel business. Whatever that was. Isabella had stopped speaking again, her heart turning to stone as she decided to never let anyone close again. And that included Sam. Love could break you, and in this world, if you were broken, you were useless. Becoming as cold as ice was easy. Simply focus on all the negative and anger in the world, ignore anything good, and you are all set. Belle was no longer the same girl that had heard about Bobby. She was now harsh and that girl was dead. She looked different, sounded different, and now she would be different. Sleeping that night wasn't an option, though Sam tried to get her to go to sleep. She took first watch, and listened to music while everyone slept. Next door, Isabella could hear Evie and Dean talking. Dean seemed to be comforting Evie, and she could hear Evie's voice, sounding like it had tear stains running through it. As she went next door to tell them she was going to take first watch and they should sleep, she saw Evie lean forward and gently kiss Dean. Cause that was Evie. Cute guy, who might like Belle? That was Evie's type.
Isabella continued to stand there, watching, and impassive look on her face, as they broke apart. Dean looked up at her and realized what she had seen, but his heart broke at her face. There was no emotion. Evie also looked at Belle, tried to speak, but Isabella silenced her with a look that looked like daggers and ice. She simply said "I am on first watch. Sleep. While you can." She spun around, and walked out, still showing little emotion. The only emotion she seemed to show was anger and hatred. Dean and Evie looked at each other, Evie looking ashamed, Dean upset. They both silently went to bed, an awkward air hanging over the room. Next door, Isabella was fuming. The two guys that she had actually liked - and kissed - had also kissed her sister. Evie had always got everything, and Belle was sick of it. She rose, careful not to disturb Sam, and left the room, grabbing her bag on the way out. She hadn't unpacked yet. before coming to the motel, they had raced back to Belle's home and grabbed anything they could, then ran. As she left, she saw the Impala sitting there. Well, if she had to go, why not go in style?
Dean woke the next morning, sleepy, hearing a knock on the door. In an instant, he was wide awake. Evie got up and got the door, as Dean grabbed for a weapon. It was only Sam, though, but he looked half upset, half angry. "Dean, come out here." Dean got up, still on edge, the tone in Sammy's voice not helping. "Isabella is gone, and she hasn't come back." Sam explained as Dean slowly walked to the door. As he came out, he started swearing loudly. He also went back into his room and throwing things around. "SON OF A BITCH STOLE BABY!" He cursed, continuing to throw things around. Evie didn't seem to understand, so Sam explained about the car. Evie rolled her eyes, said "It is just a car!" but immediately regretted it as Dean homed in on her. "JUST A CAR? BABY IS NOT JUST A CAR!" Dean yelled. His thunderous voice seemed to wake up everyone in the motel, and he got told off by one old granny, a four-year-old, and a man, but once the man realized what had happened, he instead gave Dean a beer, trying to make up for his loss.
Many kilometers away, Isabella was cruising in the Impala, fake ID at the ready in case any police saw her. She had no real destination, but away was good. She knew Dean would throw a fit, but hey, he kissed her sister, she would take something special from him. She continued turning to ice on the inside, determined not to be hurt again. But instead of ice, her insides were burning with rage. Either or, Isabella decided. Stopping for some food at a little diner, a cute guy served her, also eyeing her up from the counter as she sat down. She was wearing a short dress, heels, a cute jacket, her hair out and curled. She had done a little make up in the car, and the guy was obviously noticing her. But what Isabella didn't know was he saw how tired she looked, dress crinkled, eyes drooping, hair slightly messy. Sure, she still looked good, but she also looked sad and tired. As he brought over her order, he said "Its on the house." with a smile. She smiled back, relieved she wouldn't have to think about money. As she ate, she went on her phone, looking for a place to escape to.
Back at the motel, Dean had gotten over his rant, drunk the beer, and was packing, determined to find his Baby. Sam was all packed, wanting to find Isabella. And Evie, well, Belle had taken all her clothes as well, so she didn't have to pack. She wanted her clothes back. As they left, Sam went and found a car to take - no, sorry, 'borrow' - and they left. Unfortunately, they had no idea where Belle had gone, so they decided to ask a local. Someone at the 24/7 McDonalds had seen the Impala leave, and showed them the direction. So the three hunters got in the car, and left, ready to find those things they had lost. Dean was fuming at both sisters, as Isabella had stolen Baby, and Evie had kissed him. Sam said that seeing that may have put her over the edge. Sam was sad, missing Isabella, worrying about her. Evie was pissed at Belle, who had taken everything left from her. But seeing Dean how he was, she realized that Dean liked Belle, though Sam was the one dating her, and she had seen them together before. It hit her that Belle must also like him. Stupid, Evie thought as they traveled down the road. First she had kissed Belle's boyfriend, then the guy she liked. Of course that would happen. So Evie went into a sulk, jealous of Belle getting every guy.
Meanwhile, Isabella was chatting to the guy who had served her, as he went on break, and was smiling. But he noticed how her eyes were dead, like she was about to die. It was sorta creepy. But she did get flashes of real happiness, which showed on her face, making her look absolutely gorgeous. As she left, he said goodbye, smiling at her. She smiled back, but is was a sad smile, and she looked like all the grief in the world had become hers. He wasn't far from the truth. As she drove away, Isabella didn't look back, but instead looked ahead, trying to see a place to crash. She continued driving until late in the afternoon. At this point, she was exhausted. She pulled over, looked at the town name, and then pulled out a little notebook, listing family and friends of her parents. Finding an address, she pulled up at a large, modern house, and went to knock on the door. As the door opened, she saw a woman, stylishly dressed, a haughty look on her face. Isabella introduced herself, and the woman called her husband over. He was smartly dressed, and smiled at her. "Evie, right?" He asked. Belle smiled and shook her head. "No, actually. Isabella Lillian. Evie is in collage. You were close friends with my father, right?" He nodded and replied "Yes, my name is James, and may I ask what you are doing here? I just wasn't expecting to see you..." Isabella smiled a reassuring smile. "As you probably know, my parents are dead, and Evie is the last family I have left. I am going to see her, but I am catching a bus, and it doesn't leave until tomorrow. Can I stay here for the night, please? I don't know anyone else here, and have little money for a motel." They let her in, nodding, and as they showed her to her room, Belle smiled, glad it was so easy to get people to help her.
And that was how it was for a time. Isabella would drive the Impala to different towns, and convince people to help her. That was the problem with people. They were too trusting. And the three hunters followed her around the country, staying in motels, constantly being one step behind. It was awkward for them, as they weren't really talking to each other. But it all changed when they found a break. They rocked up into a small town - like literally rocked up, the car was falling apart, and Dean was blasting rock music as normal -when they spotted the Impala parked outside a diner. Dean stopped immediately, almost causing the car behind to crash into them, and got out. He ran to his Baby, almost crying. Sam went into the diner, stood in the doorway, and saw her. She was sitting in a booth, wearing a short skirt, a nice top, high heels, and her hair was up in a fancy bun with sunglasses on her head. He just stood there, blocking the door, watching her casually flirting with the boy waiting on her. As he slowly walked over to her, Evie entered and beat him to her. Startled to see Evie, Belle bolted, running out to the Impala, past Sam, straight into Dean, who grabbed a hold of her. Isabella screamed, and the guy from inside rounded up a few guys, and laid into Dean. He tried to fight, but failed. There were too many of them. Isabella go into the Impala, called out a thank you, and drove off, leaving Dean, Sam and Evie in the dust.
I felt this chapter needed to be from two perspectives to see everyone's journey. Sorry if you don't like it, the next chapter won't be split up. Hope you are continuing to enjoy Isabella's adventures, and don't worry, she will be forced to meet up with the boys again! :)
