Isabella continued going out to dinner with Crowley ever once in a while, and they always went to a new place. Belle always chose, and Crowley would go along with it. But today was special. Crowley was planning on making a deal with her. A special one. They went to a new restaurant, a Mexican one, and sat down, looking at the menu. Crowley looked over his menu at Isabella, who was smiling and humming a song to herself. It was Spider Pig. Well, at least she was humming in tune. Sort of. Crowley nodded at the demon he had sent to the restaurant ahead of time, and suddenly everyone got up and left. Isabella apparently didn't notice, too intent on trying to remember the last part of the Spider Pig tune. For a hunter, she really needed to work on her observational skills. Crowley cleared his throat, but it made no difference. People streamed back in, all demons. And four demons gripped two men. Winchesters. And still Isabella seemed oblivious. In the end, she got out her phone, told Crowley to shut it as he tried to speak to her, and googled the tune, humming along, and smiling when she finally managed the last part.
The demons retreated into the background, and Belle still didn't notice, as a demon came and acted as a waiter. Isabella ordered, and Crowley smiled as she started to recount a story about a shopping trip she had dragged the Winchesters on. Her eyes lighted up as she described the clothes she had gotten, and about the small cafe they had gone to for lunch that had the best pastry she had ever had. She also talked about how she still occasionally studied Japanese, and managed to translate for someone the other day. Their food came, and Isabella ate, smiling and laughing as she continued telling story after story. Crowley loved listening to his daughter, and she got up half way through, and hugged him. "Thank you for being kind. I know you have a history with the Winchesters, but I know that you can be good. I have seen it. I love you." Crowley was shocked, and Isabella sat back down, unaware how much what she had said affected him. He looked over at the demons who were crowding around the room and who were smirking at him, daring him to back down.
Crowley patiently waited, which was unusual for him, but he wanted her to be happy, while she could. Once she was done, she looked up at him, smiled, and instantly leapt up, attacking four demons at once. She used her angel blades, destroying them, one after another. But she stopped once she saw the knives glittering mockingly in the light, one pressing against each brothers throat. She backed off immediately, looking at Crowley, eyes flashing with a contained fury, that she so desperately wanted to release. Isabella sat down, and looked at Crowley, and he chuckled at her, making her even more mad. "Alyssa, please. Lets be civil." She stared at him, glaring. "Okay then, darling, if you would stop that now. I have a deal for you. I will let Dean live, if you both stop seeing each other. And I will let Sam live if you promise to never kiss Dean again, not for anything. Okay by you?" Crowley asked, his face smirking at her. She exploded at that point, yelling "Oh, hell no you son of a bitch. One of the best things to ever happen to me was meeting them. Like hell am I gonna give them up."
Crowley looked at her and sighed, a look of regret covering his features. "I am sorry love, but I have to set an example. I have to show that I follow through on what I say. Sorry. Kill them both." Isabella looked and threw two knives, but it was too late. Dean was dead, and Sam was about to join him. "STOP!" She screamed, and tackled the demons, allowing Sam to break free. Belle stabbed the remaining demons with her blade, destroying them. She made sure they were all gone, then collapsed next to Dean, cradling his head. Crowley walked over, and tried to talk to her, but she stood and went and held an angel blade to his throat, and told him to back off. Tears were flowing down her face, and her eyes were blurry, so she could barely see anything. But she held the blade steady and her face spoke volumes about how far she was willing to go. "I am so sorry, love. I'll be going now." And he left. She sat down again, crying. Sam held her, and cried as well.
The next day, Isabella went to the crossroads, and asked for Crowley. He appeared immediately. "I should kill you. You betrayed me, and killed my boyfriend, then make it like its my fault. How dare you?! Now, listen to me very carefully. If I don't have him back in an hour, I will hunt your ass down, and destroy you myself. Am. I. Clear." Isabella said, voice low and rough, filled with emotion. Crowley nodded and left. He went back to Hell, and made life, well, hell for everyone. He had lost someone he had valued above all. And for what? A dead Winchester. Knowing his luck, even if he didn't make him live, he would wind up doing it anyway. The Winchesters had an annoying habit of doing that. They just would not stay dead. But the demons had stopped listening to him, and he couldn't appear weak. So, to maintain order, he had to give up seeing his daughter.
Isabella returned to the motel room, and Sam looked at her as she came in, a worried look on his face. "Shut it Sam." Isabella said, thought he hadn't said a thing. She went, wore the shortest dress she could find, strapped knives to herself, and left. Belle went out that night, and hunted, and killed. She went to a bar afterwards, charming everyone, yet allowing none of them to come close. And the one who had ignored her warnings now had a long gash on his arm. Isabella was going to get Dean back. He had gotten her back, and she was going to do the same. But she would have to exhaust every option, before she would crawl back to Crowley again. She was stronger than that. She would get him back. No matter the cost.
