Evie had been held captive by Jason for 3 months. In that time, they had tortured her, beaten her, starved her, and threatened her. Jason had just sat there at one point, smiling, not breaking eye contact. He didn't speak, he just watched her. And that drove her to madness. After they thought they had broken her, they were escorting her to a new room to be tortured. And suddenly, all of her training with Bobby kicked in, and she killed to three men escorting her, and escaped. She had run, blindly, just trying to put as much distance between her and Jason. That had been months ago. she had stolen new clothes, and charmed people into paying for things for her. And once she felt safe, and had all her wounds treated, she got down to business. Hunting the Winchesters and Belle, for betraying her and leaving her there. She knew of the deal Jason had offered, and knew Belle hadn't tried to come for her. So she was going to get her own back. And then she found her break. She had seen the Winchesters in town, seeming to be tracking demons. Early the next morning, she was camped out outside the brothers motel room, when she saw Belle and a strange man running, and then they all went inside. After confirming that Isabella was with them, she put the tracker in Dean's precious car. And waited for the right moment.

Isabella, Sam and Dean had no idea about Evie, had no idea if she was even alive. As they traveled down the road, they stopped for an evening, all of them wiped out from the last few back to back hunts they had done. They found a motel, and went to a small diner for dinner, then they headed back to their motel rooms, Isabella jumping at the chance for a hot shower. Dean grumbled at the thought, but let her go first. Sam had his own room, and Dean simply went into his room and used his shower instead, much to Sam's annoyance. They all collapsed into bed, and all were asleep in seconds. Each of them had bruises and cuts from the last few hunts, and all were tired, Dean especially, not that he would admit it. Evie saw all this, after hitchhiking to town, and saw it as a perfect opportunity. She picked the lock and slowly walked in, ready to confront Isabella.

But seeing her, lying there peacefully, after everything Evie had been through, caused anger to build up inside, and she made a snap decision. She sat carefully on the end of the bed, leaned over Belle, and slowly slid a knife out of its case, and brought it to Belle's throat, hand steady. Feeling the coldness of the blade against her, Isabella woke up, and instantly went into fight mode. She pushed Evie off of her with a grunt, and yelled at her, realizing what she had been about to do. Evie's eyes were cold with anger, and the sisters lunged at each other. Isabella knocked the knife out of Evie's hand, but got pinned down, Evie's hand s at her throat. Isabella tried to yell, but no sound came out. Belle gasped, clutching Evie's hands, trying to pry her off. It was no use. Evie was too strong. She was going to die. Again.

There was the sharp crack of a gun going off, and suddenly Evie fell against her, not moving. Isabella pushed her off, scrambling back. But, upon seeing that Evie wasn't moving, she hesitantly moved closer, repeating Evie's name louder and louder, with more urgency each time. The place where Evie's heart was had a red stream escaping from it. It pooled around her, and stained everything it touched, forcing everything to become the dark shade of red. Isabella picked Evie up, and held her close, sobbing. Evie was dead. And there was no one left but Isabella to mourn her. She looked up, at Dean who was still holding the gun, eyes wide. Dean saw her looking at him, and put the gun down, joining her on the floor, wrapping his arms around her, holding her shaking form as sobs racked her body. But she pushed him away, standing up, eyes wide and fearful. "Shh, Isabella, it will be okay." Dean said, voice low and soft. Isabella was still shaking, and she cried out "You killed her! How could you? She was my sister?!" She continued to back away, staring at the image in front of her. Evie on the ground in  a pool of her own blood, Dean kneeling, jeans being stained red, as his eyes pleaded with her.

Sam burst in at that moment, having heard the gun go off next door. After seeing what happened, and talking to Dean in a low voice, they agreed they needed to leave. Isabella sat on her bed, not talking,  just crying and staring at Evie's lifeless body. It was all she seemed to do now days, cry. Sam tried to talk to her, but she wasn't listening. Dean and Sam packed everything up, and were ready to leave. Dean picked Isabella up to carry her to the car, but she struggled and tried to get free. Dean's heart broke as he set her back down on the bed, and Sam picked her up instead. She didn't do anything, and Sam carefully put her in the back seat. She lay down, and drifted off to sleep as they drove off. But not even half an hour later, Isabella woke up again, plagued by nightmares. Dean pulled over, but Isabella wouldn't let him near her. Instead, Sam sat in the back with her, comforting her.

Dean went off on his own after they pulled into a new town. He went to go have a chat with Crowley, his least favorite person. Crowley appeared, reluctantly, suspecting a trap, but after hearing what had happened, he was angry. Dean asked if he could help, but Crowley said time would be the only healer. But he also warned Dean to stay away from Isabella. If he refused, Crowley would drag him down to Hell himself. "You killed someone close to her. She is hurt and confused and scared. And you are the root of it. So stay away from her, Squirrel. I am serious. Or I will come and torture you in ways you can't even dream of." Crowley disappeared, and went to see Isabella before Dean came back. He held her, and comforted her, and got Dylan to come and stay with her. Because nothing is more comforting than a hellhound.

A month passed, and Isabella was starting to talk, but she still wouldn't directly look at Dean. She might say hello, and hunt with him, but she never stayed in the same room as him, and she mostly kept to herself. Dean broke, watching her back away from him, wishing he could undo what had happened. He hadn't realized it was Evie, and had shot her thinking it was someone from the sicko human cult, like Jason. But he regretted it every day, and Isabella was angry all the time, leading the hunts, continuing to stab things after they were already dead. Everyone was worried about her. But Dean was determined to win her back. There was no way he was going to lose her again. But Crowley was also determined to keep Dean and Isabella apart. By any means necessary.

Good Luck to all those studying for exams! Hope this will help with your procrastination attempts :D
