We watched as Rocky walked out of the room. Riker and I both double checked the entryway from the kitchen to make sure he wasn't anywhere near sight. As soon as Riker was for sure Rocky was gone, his hands were cupping my face. The impact was sweeter than I remembered. I hadn't felt his lips on mine for a few days, and I missed it a lot more than I thought. Keeping us a secret was fun, but it was a lot of work. We couldn't go out in public, we couldn't do anything even in the comforts of our own homes. We had the few moments alone when either my dorm was empty, or we were able to find some special spot alone like the dance studio, or hockey rink. Even if we weren't able to act especially couple-y all the time, at least we still got to see each other almost every day. I tried to look at our relationship as an adventure, and it was.
"Riker." I giggled, not hardly moving my lips from his. With his hands he drew my lips back to his. I took a second to forget the thoughts and fully indulge into him. His kisses had grown more powerful every day I was with him. There was still the fact Rocky was standing a room away. I pulled myself away from Riker more than an inch this time.
"Riker, Rocky is in the other room. What if he walks in?" Riker flashed a small, almost careless smirk.
"It's worth it." He took his hands, and wrapped them around my waist connecting them on my tailbone.
"Maybe, but I don't think him finding out right now would be the most ideal, right before your tour, and all."
"Worrying about my brother finding out what's the point in doing what you're told." Riker sang slowly, and softly. I loved his voice, especially when he sang. Ugh it was perfect. He was always singing too. Everything reminded him of a tune he had heard before. It seemed a lot of these tunes had held pretty tight to our relationship. I smiled.
"That was pretty clever there." I giggled to the accurateness of the song.
"I told you music just gets me, The 1975 especially. " I wrapped my arms around his neck, and set my head on his shoulder. He pulled my body closer into his.
"I'm going to miss you." I sulked. The black suitcase standing next to us was just an even harder reminder that in a few hours he was going to be gone. Gone for a long time. Riker loved his music, and even more he loved touring. I didn't want to take the joy of it all away from him, but it sucked that he was going to be away.
"Yea, me too. We're only going to be gone a month though. We'll be back before you know it." I gave Riker one more small peck on the lips.
"I hope so." He released his grip around me, and I backed up.
"Well I suppose I should finish packing huh? Our flight leaves at 5 tomorrow morning."
"Yea, don't remind me." I folded my arms, and tried to not show my real feelings for the subject. I wanted him to know I was happy for him, even if I was a bit selfishly sad he was leaving.
"Don't worry hopefully tonight when everyone's busy with last minute stuff we can sneak off, and have some alone time." He smirked. I nodded, and smiled.
"I'd like that. We hardly got a moment this week, and now I'm losing you for a month." Riker leaned in real close and put his lips to my ear softly to whisper.
"Don't worry tonight will be just you, and me." The way he talked could give me the shutters. Amazing shutters that ran down my back and crept into my beating heart. He moved in, and kissed my cheek before heading upstairs to his room. I sat down on the couch behind me, and folded my arms. Not too late after, Rocky came back from the kitchen into the living room, and sat next to me on the couch.
"Why do you look so grumpy?" He muttered stuffing the sandwich he was holding into his mouth.
"Don't chew with your mouth full." I scolded. He wiped his mouth off with his wrist, and furrowed his eyebrows. A piece of lettuce fell onto his shirt so he picked it up, and put it in his mouth.
