Dean's POV: "Are you sure you're allowed to stay here again?" Sophie asks from where she's leaning on my chest; hand on my shoulder, the opposite one from where her head is sitting.
"You saw what he was like, I can't go back there. Especially when he's being as assay as he is." I grumble, at least I try not to. I'd rather not let her see me as messed up as I was last night because that's not fair on her but I can't seem to control the mood. Yes I've had a great time with her today since we came back but the truth is all I want to do is scream or punch something and for me that isn't the usual mood, it would normally be beat the cr*p out of anyone who gives you sh*t and do whatever the hell you please.
But of course I'm messed up in the head now. Sophie has got to my head, I can't let myself have all of my normal emotions because they all come back and affect her but they seem to be doing that more so than normal because I have that sort of sense of control.
"Ok, just make sure your mum's fine with it at least." She says, her big blue eyes are worried that much is clear but that's something that hasn't left them at all since last night when I turned up.
"Ok, I'll phone her but that's all I'm doing." I say with a very small glare to her to which she nods her head looking a little happier and a little less worried (not by much mind you but it's an improvement).
"Good, now, I'm going out to find Liam." She says pointing towards the door leading out to the yard, something tells me that that's not the reason she's going out there but to see Foxy and Tilly since she hasn't exactly been up for going out to see them recently.
"Sure, I'll go do this." I say lifting my phone out of my pocket and giving it a little wave so she knows I'm going to phone the now rather than back out of it.
She walks out of the door, her feet shuffling as I speak but taking her to the door quickly as if she can't wait to leave the room, she clearly can't make herself be patient... then again she never was any good with patience.
Taping in the number, I hold the phone up to my ear while letting it give me a deathening blast of a ring. There's a click on the other end and a heavy breath before a hello, thank god it's my Mum...
Sophie's POV: "Why are you out here Soph?" my brothers voice chases me down the stable aisle as I make my way towards Foxy's stable.
"Because I want to see my horses?" I say making it sound more like a question than that of anything else.
"You're not riding, I'm telling you this now!" he shouts down to me as I unbolt the door to let myself into the liver chestnuts stable
"Yeah, yeah, I'm too injured to, I know!" I shout back to him over my shoulder sarcastically. I want to ride, I haven't ridden in ages so it's something that I both need to and want to do.
"You are though Sophie so don't even think about it!" he shouts back as I reach my pony, letting my hands tangle in her mane as she puts her head around my side as if hugging me to her. Then again knowing Foxy she's probably looking for food from my pockets not that she'll find any.
"Just wait until tomorrow Fox, then we'll get out there when the big bad wolf is at school." I whisper into my pony's ear so Liam can't hear me.
There's absolutely no point in me going into school until everything has calmed down and it certainly won't have by tomorrow and I'm going to guess that Dean has a few things to sort out at home too so it's not like he can stop me riding either which is a good thing.
An hour later Dean still hasn't come down to find me, surprisingly, so I leave Tilly's stable and head up the yard with Liam sauntering along next to me, his hair flopping in the wind.
