In a scale of one to ten, how bad is it to invade school's property in the middle of the night in a superhero costume?
My mind tells me it's not as bad as it sounds. It's probably a 7, at most.Gale should be here by now. I wonder what is taking him so long. Could have he decided not to show up and leave me hanging here? He was pretty annoyed when I told him what my idea was. He probably doesn't want to make himself look like a ass if someone catches us. In the end Gale does have a social status to defend, and getting caught basically trepassing school property with the kid who attempted dressed like a stupid superhero certainly wouldn't do him any good. Not to talk about the trouble he'd get with the principal. If Snow in someway catches up to Gale he'll most likely send him back in a plane to Australia, since he is an exchange student. I need to make sure he won't get into trouble.
Still, if Gale doesn't show up, I'm sure I'll get pretty pissed. It was him who asked me to help the S.C.L cause, he can't just leave me here, specially when he said he would help me in any way he could, no matter how crazzy I was acting. And, for that matter, I'm sure he was aware of how crazy I could get when he told me this.
Eventually I see his silhouete appearing from the dark street. I stand up, already fed up og waiting, even if I havem't been here for more than twenty minutes. I stand up, fixing my red superman like cape that got sligthlu crumpled from me sitting.
"Finally!" I complain. Gale looks at me with a surly expression, the very same expression when I told him what we were to do. I try not to laugh at his supposed to be cape. Since Gale didn't really have any superhero costume (an we were with very short time) had to improvise one. Let's just say that a pink Hello Kitty sheet tied around your neck doesn't precisly suit anyone.
"I can't believe your making me do this, Peeta." Gale grumbles.
I give him a warning look. We're not supposed to give away our identities. The school is heavily guarded with cameras, and if we were to say our names out loud like that, we'd get caught. And although I'm not precisly in danger if I do get caught, I still don't think it's a great idea for Gale to go around screaming my name. "It's Breadioactive Man, ass-face!" I tell him pointing towards the letter B I have stamped on my suit. Afterwards I smirk. recently, I found that annoying Gale is probably one of the best things ever. He is this very stubborn person, that certainly doesn't like to be bossed around. When I got in charge of the plan and am about to make him do ridiculous things, he gets really huffish. "And you are..." I incentivate him to finish the sentence. Gale, just like I expected, huffs inwardly. "Oh, come on, SQ, if you wanna make this work you gotta get in the caracter!" I tease him, but with a hint of seriousness, still waiting for him to finish the sentence.
Gale sighs heavily before straghtning his back in a more victorius pose. "And I'm Squirrel Dude." he mumbles grumpily. I laugh, contributing for the hatefull glare gale is sending my way. "Let's just get this over with so that I can take this off." he says pointing towards his skin tight green pants that I made sure he'd wear.
"Don't act like that, I still think you look very handsome with your man leggings." I mock. Gale mutters some proscenities under his breath and runs a hand through his hair."Did you bring every thing we need?" I ask him, this time more seriously. It's almost 11.30 pm, we don't have forever.
"Yes I did." Gale mumbles.
"Well, where is your gadget belt?" I ask him, sligthly upset he didn't follow my commands.
"You mean the fanny pack?" Gale asks. I glare at him and Gale huffs yet again. "What, it's true. I can't just pretend that it is like Batman's gadget belt. And no, I didn't bring it. I brought a backpack instead."
