I started riding to school with Gee and Mikey since they lived right down the street. I was glad I found them and didn't spend all of my time crying over Ryan. There are still times that I think of Mika and I wish I wouldn't. It always puts me in a bad mood. I came home from school and started up the stairs when my mum called to me.
"Jacky!!" I walked back down to where I could see her. "Ryan was over here looking for you. I told him you'd go to his house."
"You fucking what?!" I yelled, going further down the stairs.
"Listen, I don't know what's up with you lately, but you can't ignore your friends." She doesn't know what's up with me? Maybe she should pay a bit more attention. Hasn't she noticed Ryan hasn't been living here for a few weeks? She opened the door with one hand on her hip and pointed out it.
"Get over there." She said sternly. I let out a breath and looked out the door for a moment before walking across the street. I knocked on the front door and shoved my hands into my pockets. It took a while of standing in the cold, but Ryan eventually opened the door. He looked down and a smile formed on his face.
"Hey.." He said, motioning for me to come inside. I followed him.
"So..you wanted to talk to me..?" I said quietly, looking at the floor.
"Yeah...um..It's about what happened. I should've been there for you when you were in the hospital. I feel terrible." I didn't know how to respond so I just stood. "Saying yes to Ron was my worst mistake.." He trailed off quietly.
"Is that it?" I asked.
"I-i mean...I guess.." Ryan stuttered out. I nodded and walked towards the door when he grabbed my shoulder.
"wait.." I turned my head sideways, but, not facing him. I didn't feel like I could. Before I could think, those same cold hands were holding both sides of my face, forcing me to face him. I glared into his dark brown eyes and he looked back into mine, before slowly pressing his lips against mine. I didn't want to just forgive him like this, but, i've missed him. At this moment, I just wanted this. Even if he was back with Ron tomorrow, which I expect he would. His hands fell from my face down to my waist, pulling me closer. So many thoughts ran through my head, like, what about Mikey? Us hanging out through the past week hasn't just been a simple friendship. He knows it, I know it, Gerard knows it, and I wouldn't be surprised if Frank and Ray did too. And besides, we kissed. My thoughts were interrupted by my snakebite being pulled on and Ryan's tongue sliding against my lip. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his waist at the taste of his mouth. I stood on my toes as much as I could and deepened the kiss. I opened my eyes when I heard the sound of a door opening. I looked at the floor to see two pairs of converse and skinny jeans side by side in the doorway.
-Mikey's P.O.V.-
"C'mon, Mikes, It'll be fine!" Gerard yelled to me down the hall. I rushed into his room and gave him my poker face.
"How do you know Gee? W-what if he just laughs at me..or-or he thinks I'm a freak..." I looked down and he walked closer.
