***lets all just pretend Ryan has always been 17, kay? I just need him to not be 18 for the story line to work so just yeah. Ryan's 17 now. Also this chapters really short****

After debating for a few minutes, I ran upstairs after Ryan. I pushed his bedroom door open with out hesitating to see him sitting on his bed with his face buried in his hands.

"I don't wanna talk right now." He mumbled.

"Well, you don't have a choice." I sat down next to him, keeping my distance. I could never tell how he was feeling. He's complicated.

"I ruined it. Ron hates us and I fucked things up between you and your boyfriend."

"M-my boyfriend?" I stammered, slightly blushing. "No. Mikeys not my b-boyfriend."

"The first time I saw you after you got out of the hospital you held his hand. You said you've 'moved on'."

"Th-that just because I was... Jealous.. I think.." I said quietly. He lifted his head slightly, tears stained on his face.

"Jealous?" He chuckled.

"Yeah. How else would I feel? Do you really think I'd get over you that quickly? I love you, idiot." I looked down at my hands, half wishing I wouldn't have said that.

"Well," he pulled me closer by my waist, resting his head on my shoulder. "I love you too... Idiot. I'm so fucking sorry. For.. Everything."

"Stop apologising."

"But I just feel like I really-" I covered his mouth with my hand.

"No. I just wanna go back to being ridiculous losers. Can we just do that please?" He nodded before licking my hand.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!?!" I screamed, wiping it off on his arm.

"You put your hand on my mouth!! What else would I do?!?!" He laughed hysterically.

"One more thing," He started, holding me closer, something Ryan likes to do. "You gotta come back to school. We miss you." I sighed and thought for a while. I'd be leaving Gerard and Frank and Ray and.. Mikey. But I did miss Ronnie and Derek. A lot.

"Well then let's go ask mum." I instantly shot up from the bed, running downstairs and across the street, not even looking back to see if Ryan was following.

"MUUUMMMM!!!!!" I screamed as loud as physically possible when I opened the door. Turns out she was right beside me in the kitchen.

"Jesus!! What?!?!" I started to ask her when Ryan ran through the door, catching his breath. I glanced at him before turning back to my mum.

"I NEED TO GO BACK TO MY OLD SCHOOL!!!!!" I yelled. She looked from me to Ryan, her eyes slightly squinted. Ryan nodded vigorously to agree with me.

"So you guys are friends again?" She asked. We both looked at each other before nodding. She let out a breath.

"Ryan," she stepped closer to him, a serious look on her face. I was slightly nervous at is point. "You're gonna have to protect him if he goes back there."

"Mum-" I blushed and was immediately cut off.

"I'm serious. Those kids are assholes and you're just too small and-"

"MUM!!!!!"

"Yes." Ryan interjected. "I will, ma'am." He said in a posh tone. She studied us with her eyes for a while, debating.

"Okay... Yes. But don't call me ma'am. Mum is fine." And with that, she left the room.

"You don't actually have to 'protect' me." I mumbled.

"Well I'm going to anyway. I should have before." He looked down at me with a half smile. Without putting much thought into it, I stood on my toes and pecked his lips.

"We have school tomorrow." He whispered, smiling against my lips.

"FUCK!!!!!" I screamed once again through the house. School was going to suck.
