Ric couldn't figure out where he had put the last stake as his alter ego had put it somewhere for safe keeping. This kind of worried us because we thought it was all under control so all we could do only one thing. That was lock Ric up in the cellar in the basement in the boarding house. None of us were happy about at all. We didn't want to lock up Ric but that was the only option.

The other conversation that came up was about finding out which original actually created Damon and Stefan blood line. We could only go as far back as Rose. Damon suggested that Jeremy would be able to contact her. Now I would of thought Elena and Damon would be going on this trip. Instead it was me and Stefan who were going to get Jeremy. While we were there we would bring him back for the wedding and for good now Nic knew where he was. The reason why Damon wanted me to go was he concerned that if I bumped into a particular original I'll probably go a little crazy like I did tonight. Also with the wedding being so close he wanted me to have a little break away from it all. And let Elena take over the last few details. Damon wanted Stefan to go because he didn't want to leave Ric alone and if anyone was going to bring out his alter ego it would be him.

After our discussion I dropped Elena home she seemed a little unhappy. I did question her why but she just throbbed it off with today events. I checked with her to see she wasn't upset that it wasn't because I was going to get Jeremy. She reassure me that it wasn't and agreed with Damon that I need a little break. I had left Elena and drove home I parked up the car and walked into the house it was all dark downstairs. So I went upstairs into our bedroom, Damon was in bed already reading a book he looked up and smiled and put his book down.

"So you and my baby bro on trip should be fun" he said, while I got undressed.

"Yeah it should be fun, you know me and Stefan on a road trip minus an original dick" I told him while climbing into bed, Damon chuckled while I cuddled up to him.

"I know Rose will come through for you, after everything you did forgive her" I looked up at him and smiled "Also I know Stefan will take care of you. So I have nothing to worry about, apart from bring out Ric evil twin out" I stretched up and kissed him. I turned over and Damon wrapped his arms around me ad pulled me close to him. He kissed the side of my neck I felt my eyes get heavy and I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in the morning and I got out of bed trying not to wake Damon. I went and had a quick shower and came out and threw on a pair of jeans and hoody and my sneakers. I crept out of the bedroom quietly so I didn't wake Damon. I went down the stairs and grabbed my car keys and went out of the house I got in my car and turned the engine on and drove off. I got to Ric apartment and walked into the building and went up the stairs. I took out Ric apartment keys and opened the door then walked in. I went into his room and went to his closet and began to pack a few essential and zipped up the holdall. I walked out and locked the door and made my way out of the building. I didn't know how long Ric was going to be resident down in the basement so I wanted him to have a few of his own things. I got in the car and put the holdall in the passenger sit and began to drive back home. I got out of the car and walked into the house and made my way down to the basement. I approaches the door to the cells and looked in. Ric was lying on the cot looking up at the celling. I don't know what was going through his mind right now.

"Ric?" I called out and he turned his head to the door he gave me a small smile.

"Yep. Still me" I unlocks the door and walked in Ric was sitting up now "You know, you shouldn't be in here, It defeats the point of the whole being locked in a cellar thing" I dropped the bag on the ground. I wasn't scared of his evil side I mean if I can kick an original ass. I'm pretty sure I could stop Ric.
