I didn't sleep well at all last night I kept thinking about the conversation that Stefan and I had. When I told him that I had feeling for Damon. I think Stefan was genuinely upset by what I told him. Why couldn't he show me he cared before?Why did he show he was bothered now? I didn't know what to feel or to think. All I knew is that I had finally admitted that I had fallen for Damon and said it out loud. Was it the right thing to do though? What if Stefan tells Damon or even worse he tells Siena? I don't know how she will take it 'yes I do' she will hate me forever. After her walking in on me kissing Damon and all the issues we have had we have finally moved on. Now I've gone and messed it all up again. I was in love with both of them. Katherine told me once it was okay to love them both. But it isn't because one if them totally in love with my sister.

I could deal with thinking about it anymore. I walked out of my room and made my way down the stair into the kitchen. Ric was in there looking through the cupboards.

"Morning" He peeked around the cupboard door. He looked terrible I think Ric had a heavy night of drinking.

"Thought we had aspirin" Ric really didn't look great looks like he had been partying all week.

"Yeah in the vitamins, you're hung over" I said walking over to make myself a coffee.

"Yeah, sorry about that, it was a bit of a weird night" I think he still felt weird me walk in on him and Meredith kissing.

"I told you, you don't have to feel guilty about inviting Meredith over here" I said to him turning around taking a sip of my coffee. He gave me a small smile all I wanted was for Ric to be happy.

"Oh I know, and I thank you for that. But I do feel guilty for whiskey dialling her at two in the am" he said shamelessly. oh my god Ric your terrible I couldn't help but chuckle.

"No you didn't" He hung his head looking down at his black coffee.

"Oh, yes I did" He said putting his hands over his face. I knew Ric liked her and I wanted to see him happy after everything that had happened with Jenna.

"Oh, was she cool about it?" I asked walking over sitting opposite him. He looked at me.

"Well, as soon as these aspirin kick in and I remember the conversation, I'll let you know" He really blackout that really not a good sign. The door bell rung and I got up and walked over to the front door and opened it. It was Caroline mom what was she doing here?

"Sheriff Forbes, Hi is everything OK?" I asked a little worried, I hope nothing has happened.

"This is an unconventional conversation we're about to have, so I hope you'll protect me on it" What did she mean protect her?

"Of course" I heard Ric say from behind me. I turned and looked at him he gave me a smile I looked back at the sheriff.

"I assume you both heard our medical examiner was murdered the night of the Wickery Bridge fundraiser" No one mention about this to me. But what did it have to do with us?

"Yeah Brian Walters, Why?" Ric asked in a confused tone. I seriously didn't get what was going on here.

"We've been investigating, someone drove this stake through his heart" she was looking at the both of us while showing us the stake that was used.

"That's one of ours, I mean this is one of a set from your parent's lake house" Ric said looking at it. Then looking at me. How did anyone get hold of it?

"That's why I'm here I haven't told anyone but forensics ran it for prints and found only one clean set" Then she looked directly at me "Yours" hold on did she just say my prints were on the murder weapon?
