"When one gets lost, the other one feels useless."
There's this male with trillions of pair of slippers. He never forget to take good care of them. He loves them so much. Sadly, thousands of slippers lost their pairs and suddenly reconnect with new ones. And then there's this one pair of slippers wherein if one gets lost, the other one feels useless.
The black and green slippers had just been reconnected recently since the black one lost its old pair. The green slippers is the 'happy' one. His favorite thing is making new friends with the other pairs.., opposing him is the black one. The black one loves to stay indoor and just be friends with the one she's comfortable with. But despite their differences, they became attached.
It was a happy post-christmas celebration and the green one just got his new sticker. Like before, the black and green slippers are beside each other. But the 'supposed to be good' sticker changes everything.
The green slipper was bragging about his newly placed sticker. And so, he forgot about his pair. The black slipper doesn't really think about this because she knew that her pair got his new sticker.
Hours passed and the black one became close to the other 'alone' slippers, the green pair on the other hand became close to only one white slipper. The white slipper just got unattached to her old pair.. the one which the black pair is talking to.
The black pair noticed that her pair is being close with the white one and got scared. She's afraid to be unattached with the only slipper to whom she can give her whole trust.
She's terrified just by thinking about this, "stop overthinking, you fool! You said it yourself that you trust him!" the black slipper thought. Days passed by and the black slipper's worst nightmare came to life.
It happened— they are slowly getting unattached. The green slipper gave his full time to the white slipper and left the black one behind. The black one was so disappointed and sad. She never knew that her most trusted friend can do that to her; break his promise and leave her behind. The black pair, then, considered the happiness of the green one.
She tried to be happy because she knew that her 'pair' is happy.. it's just that, it's not with her but with the white slipper. She conditioned herself to never cry again every time she saw the green and white slipper together.
The thing that made them be called as a 'pair' fades away; FRIENDSHIP fades away. And the next thing? The green and black slipper disconnected. The green slipper found his new "pair" which is the white slipper. The black slipper on the other hand, was left alone.. with the feeling of longing for her pair.
She started asking what she did, where did she go wrong and why— why everything need to happen. And this question popped into her mind.. Why Not?
She meant, she's boring.. has bad sense of humor.. dark aura.. melodramatic.. so, why not? Why would someone stay by her side with this kind of attitude? Who can? And who will?
She started begging for their owner to make them reconnect again.. She started begging to GOD to make him come back.. She started doing everything she can for God to help him find his way back to her..
There she goes again, drowning by her own thoughts. Her pair disappeared AGAIN.. and he never found his way back to her. She waited. She always wait. She never gets tired of waiting. Just for him. And only for him.
