"So, you don't think there is anything you can do to fix the car?" Jane wonders, glancing over at me. I turn towards the stunning blonde and say, "I'll be honest with you, I am terrible with cars. I barely know how to change a tire." I chuckle at myself, hoping to ease the pain of my lack of motor knowledge.

"Oh, Harry," she shakes her head, "I guess we are kind of screwed then." We both try to laugh off the unfortunate situation, attempting to make the best of it.

"Maybe once it stops raining we can try to get service to call someone." I suggest, pulling out my phone to see if I have any bars. Sadly, I have none.

"If it stops raining. Russellville is bad about downpours." I nod my head, believing every word she says.

It seems like we waited hours for the rain to stop, and finally it does. It's pitch black outside and we are in the middle of nowhere. And when I say nowhere, I mean NOWHERE. My car is pulled off to the side of the road by a field that must go on for twenty miles. Cows roam the area which tells me people must live nearby, but with it being this time of night I don't think I want to go wandering off.

"Since it stopped raining we should try to get service." I tell Jane, who agrees. We both get out and hold our phones up in the air, pointing them in every direction hoping to get at least one bar of service.

"I got one... and it's gone." I hear Jane mutter the last words. I fumble with my phone, trying my very hardest to get one bar, but fail miserably. I walk a little ways away from the vehicle, hoping to get service there. When that fails I look back to Jane and say, "Maybe we should just start walking back, we couldn't have driven too far." I suggest, wondering myself if that would be a good idea.

"I don't know, Harry. People say there are wild animals out here." I laugh at her before opening my mouth,"I'll protect you, Jane." I wink and head over to the car to get a few things out before we begin this journey to find our way back home.

"Says the man who can barely change a tire," Jane turns her nose up and giggles. I lightly shove her shoulder, her back gently colliding with the side of my old truck. My body towers over her small one as I gaze down at her.

"I would like to see you try to change one." My forest green eyes meet her ocean blue ones, they remind me of Anna's, how beautiful they are, but I believe Anna's hold more beauty than Jane's.

"Too bad we don't have a flat tire or I would show you how it's done." I throw my head back in laughter saying, "I bet you can barely even pick up a tire." I tease, slowly running my hand through her hair.

"I bet you would be surprised at what I can lift." My face is only inches from hers, lips almost touching, breathing steady.

"We better start walking if we want to make it by sunrise." I say, just as my lips brush up against hers. I open the cab door and reach into grab my water bottle and jacket. I don't really have anything else in here so I lock the door and shut it before returning back to face Jane.

"You're something else, Harry Styles." Jane shakes her head before we start off in the direction we came in.

I know it's been forever since I updated and this chapter is really short and probably crappy, but I'm trying to get my crap together and update way more often. I got discouraged from writing after I read some really nasty comments on one of my other stories and I just lost all inspiration to write, but I'm back and the haters can go screw themselves!

Help me reach 1M reads! We are almost there!
