YOUR POV
You hop off the Hogwarts express and get shoved a bit by the older years and the crowd of children finding their friends.
You were a first year so you didn't know anyone ,no one nada you were lonely as all your friends had gone too other schools . Yes you were a pure-blood but you had an adopted sister who was a half-blood but you were okay with that.You were shy and a bit of a nerd at potions because your father taught you and it was his favourite subject at Hogwarts.
You walked into the great hall later that evening and waited with the other first years at the end off the queue. Professor Mcgonagal started to call out names.
"Sam puffle " he suffled to the stool in front of the hall and a talking hat was placed on his head
"HUFFLEPUFF" the hat shouted
"Stacey goodheart" professor Mcgonagal said
She did the same calling out names then putting on the hat the hat saying witch house they were in until she got to you
"(Y/N)" she called
You walked quickly to the stool and felt the hat being placed on your head .
"(HOUSE NAME) " it called . You got off the seat and smiled and walked over to your house table .
Later that night after you got into bed you thought of the great time you were going to have here as you had made three new friends already .
