Reverse Harem: Accidental Royalty

That Sneaky Puppy

I looked at my ticket attempting to find my seat in the crowd of screaming girls. Yes, I was at Josh's concert. To be completely honest I didn't mind going. I was quite curious about Joshua's ability.

I hadn't been to a concert in years. Also I had never seen Joshua sing before, let alone perform a show.  While waiting in line to get in I had overheard that he was a really good dancer, and really cool on stage. I tried to imagine the puppy, standing on a large stage with screaming fans. It was something I just couldn't imagine.

Finally I found my seat in between two girls decked out in my childhood friends merchandise.

As I waited I noticed girls pointing and glaring at me. They had probably seen the news when Josh decided to kiss me. The thought sent shivers through my brain.

After about thirty minutes of munching on some chips and playing on my phone the crowd erupted into cheers.

"Ooh fancy lights."

Oliver pov.~

"Why are we doing this again?" Charles asked, pulling up his hood.

"Because.." I snapped, trying to navigate through the crowd.

The prince's and I had decided to follow Maya just in case something happened to her. Not stalking, just security.....

Anyways we were currently trying to find Maya, since we secretly bought tickets in a row that was directly behind her.  The hordes of teenage girls were not helping us at all.

"Too dark." William complained, squinting in order to read the book. Connor smacked the back of his head, snatching the book from his hand.

After ten minutes, we finally found our row, and stealthily sat behind Maya.

"So what are we gonna do, just sit here?" Henry asked.

"Yep." Daniel said, slumping in his seat.

I was surprised that Daniel and William agreed to go with us on our little "expedition". They normally sit out on things like this, often saying something like "it's too bothersome."

Soon the chatter stopped and screams erupted from the audience. The lights brightened and Daniel appeared on the stage, and the show began.

Maya pov.

On stage, Joshua was a totally different person. He appeared cold and distant, his dance and voice full of charisma and passion.

I have to admit that I was a little surprised, and proud of my childhood friend. As the performance continued I began to bounce to the beat, letting out some shouts when he asked for them. His songs made my heart beat faster, and my mind spin. I couldn't blame the swooning girls, and screaming fans. Josh was amazing.

A sudden shout sounded from behind me, and I looked back. I felt my body go slack as my mood dropped. The six princes of idiocy stood in trench coats holding onto a scared Henry.

"What are you but holes doing here?" I whisper shouted. They all stopped to look at me, all resembling a deer in headlights.

"We came to protect you dear maiden." Connor explained, reaching for my hand.

I swatted him away, and turned around trying to enjoy the concert.

As the show continued I would here constant bickering and arguing. Henry would keep poking my back and ask me what is happening. Connor would try and back hug me, while Oliver pulled him away. William just sat there trying to read his book, and it looked like Daniel was asleep.

When the show ended I made my way towards the back showing my pass to the security guards. It wasn't just  a VIP pass, but it was the same that the staff wore, allowing me to go anywhere including Joshua's dressing room.

Luckily the prince's were unable to follow me past the guards and ended up being discovered by fans after trying to stalk me. I laughed at the sight of Daniel getting sucked into a crowd of screeching teens.

When I entered the dressing room, Josh sat facing the wall looking at a screen. As I neared him, I saw that he was intently watching his most recent performance. His eyes were glued to the screen, his normal dazed expression washed away.

"Oh, hi Maya!" Josh greeted once he noticed me. He put on a big smile, and gave me his signature bear hug.

Even though he was sweaty, he still had the same cinnamon smell that has been with him since we were kids.

"How did you like the concert? I worked really hard just for you!" He asked, letting me go from the hug.

"You did really well!" I congratulated. His eyes lit up at the simple phrase, and he picked me up.

"Yaaaayyyyy! Maya thank you, that made me really happy!" He cheered, twirling me around.

"All right buddy," I wheezed, his action crushing me. I patted his back, and kicked my legs.

"Time to put me down."

He did as I said and set me gently on the floor, taking a step away.

"I really want to chat with you Maya, but my manager is going to kill me." Josh pouted. I thought back to the moody woman who had dragged Josh away. I wouldn't want to mess with her.

He began for the door, but then turned around to face me.

Before I could do or say anything I felt a warm sensation on my cheek. Joshua left with a giggle, skipping out of the room.

I touched my cheek cursing the sneaky boy in my head. My cheeks began to heat up, and my heart began beating fast.

I think I'm sick.
