I Plead the Fifth!

I came to school the next day, planning to avoid that conniving little snake.

That boy is pure evil, playing a joke like that on me! Kissing my cheek? Did I give him permission? Josh did the same thing.... But that's different. We are childhood friends.

"Maya!" Henry cheered, latching onto me as soon as I entered the classroom.

"Did you eat breakfast?" Charles asked like the gentleman he was. He was the only prince that I could tolerate out of the pack of mutts.

"Yeah, thanks." I answered with a small smile.

As I walked to my seat I made sure to avoid all eye contact with the red headed demon.

"Maya!" Conner shouted before I could take my seat.

"Did you go on a date with Daniel!" He yelled accusingly. I dropped my books my face turning the same shade as the sneezy demons hair.

"Wh- what are you talking about? No! I I was kidnapped. I plead the fifth! Innocent until proven guilty!" I stammered trying to collect my books.

Someone's hand touched mine and I looked up to see Daniel kneeling on the floor, picking up my books. Our faces were only inches apart causing me to remember what had happened yesterday.

*flashback*

I turned to go into my house, when I felt something girl my wrist. Before I could even turn I felt a soft sensation on my cheek.

By the time I got to my senses Daniel was sprinting halfway down the street.

"Did he just? No..... Wait... WHAATT?!?!?"

*Flashback end*
"AWAAAAYY!!!!!!" I screamed pushing Daniel with all my might.

Before anything else could happen I sat in my chair and looked at the board telling everyone to be quiet for the teacher...... Even though there was no teacher....

"Maya!" Someone yelled, slamming the door open. Joshua stood at the door panting.

"Someone said they saw you at the park with Oliver, and then you went on a date with Daniel! How could you betray your husband" He wailed, falling to his knees like some soap opera actor.

"Wha??? W-who is Oliver I don't know an Oliver. Daniel? Who's Daniel y-you must mean Daniella my... My aunt." I stuttered my face once again red with embarrassment.

" I even marked you with a kiss on the cheek!" Joshua yelled.

"Mark? She is not something you mark! And you kissed her?" Oliver yelled standing up from his seat.

"You should be one to talk, you almost gave her a big smak on the lips of it wasn't for Daniel." Connor yelled, somewhat excited by the arguing.

I shrunk into my seat, wishing I could dig a hole in the ground and stay there forever. Girls were glaring at me, and the Prince's were looking at me accusingly. Why were they getting so angry over who I hung out with. If anyone should be angry about that it should be me. I'm the one who's been violated.

Now would be a great time to be kidnapped... I though to myself. And if right on cue William picked up my chair and carried me out of the room... On my chair.

He may be weird but you can always rely on him if you need to be kidnapped out a situation.

William pov~

I wasn't very happy. I don't know why but when someone mentioned Maya handing out with Danny and Oli I got mad. Especially when that weird puppy like guy called her his wife. That confused me. Also Maya looked sad. I didn't know why but her sad face made me unhappy.

I suddenly remembered that Maya was really unhappy when she was hungry. Maybe if I fed her she would not make a frowny face. So I got up, picked up her chair and brought her with me to go get food.

Maya pov~

William didn't put me or my chair down until we left the school. I honestly didn't know he was so strong, but a guy like him could surprise anyone.

"Thanks for kidnapping me." I mumbled once he set me down. He nodded his head and took my hand dragging me towards some unknown place.

The entire walk to wherever we were going was silent. His expressing barely changed once and I was starting to get bored. Don't get me wrong I was overjoyed to be away from everyone else, but he could at least say something.

William began to open his mouth and my ears perked in excitement. He let out a puff of air and continued walking.

"This guy." I muttered.

We continued walking hand in hand for another five minutes. Finally he stopped abruptly, causing me to snap out of my lala land in Equestria and slam into his back. I looked up to see a small convenience store.

"We're hear." He announced and pulled me inside.

"We just passed like ten convenience stores in the way here! Why didn't we go to one of those?" I asked.

"I like the color of this once better." He said, and began to pull me through the aisle. Man this guy is weird.

"Here." He said handing me a cup of ramen and large chocolate chip cookie. I took it and watched as he picked out some food for himself.

We checked out after about a minute of trying to calm down the cashier. He kept bowing and offering all his food, but we refused.

William and I sat next to each other on the edge of the sidewalk. His eyes followed my every move as I ate my ramen.

I had no idea why he was doing this, me eating is not a pretty sight.

"Are you happy?" He asked out of the blue.

I thought for a moment before answering

"You saved me and bought me food. Why wouldn't I be happy." I replied, right before I stuffed the cookie in my mouth. Then one of the most rare things happened.

William smiled.

Hi guys..... I haven't been on for a long time and I am sorry. There is no excuse or exception. I will say that now I have the plot figured out and know now that I plan to have a book 2. There are four people who are interested in Maya romantically. I'm pretty sure you can guess who. That number will not increase or Maya may explode from the confusion of this foreign thing called love. Bye y'all!
