You're doing well. Keep it up. I mentally told him. Now that they defeated Jason Kurosawa, they have to fight the Otarangers next.

I left them alone for a while because I needed time to calm myself from the recent events. We have just started teaming up with them so I can't expect them to just let us join with open arms. I sighed and made my way down and stayed nearby.

Jin was the first to notice. "Hey, you feeling better now?"

"Better than before. But not completely." I confessed. Ami and Kazuya had just finished the maintanace on their LBXs.

"Say," Ami said to Jin. "Doesn't Proto Zenon need maintanance?"

"Are you taking a break for the second round?" Kazuya asked.

"I don't intend on taking a break." Jin replied with his arms crossed.

"Then..." Ami wanted to say something but-

"Ami-tan." OtaYellow appeared out of no where.

Ami jumped and looked back. "O-OtaYellow?"

Then he got excited for no reason. "D-did you hear? Hey, did you all hear?! Ami-tan said my name!"

"Huh?" Ami said, sweat-dropping.

"She said 'OtaYellow'! I'm so happy!" OtaYellow kept rambling on and on. OtaRed placed a hand on his shoulder and started saying things about Ami and bla bla bla. Basicly, they (along with Ryuu) thought that Ami likes OtaYellow.

"Geez!" She complained. "C'mon Jin, help me out here..."

"Not interested." He simply replied.

Then, OtaPink started rambling. "C-cool! I've never seen an LBX player so cool before! What's your name?"

Jin faced her with a blank face while I took a step back. For some reason, people like them scare me. Like before, I grab hold of Jin's sleeve out of instinct. He still didn't mind it.

"He's Kaidou Jin." Kazuya answered her.

"Kaidou Jin!" She said, getting excited. "Now that's the name of a main character! It gets to me all inside!" What the... Does she have a thing for Jin? They just met and she's... Argh! What am thinking?! I tensed up unconciously.

"It's decided!" She said. "I'll fight in the second round! I'll fight against Kaidou Jin! And... And if I win... Jin, tell me your email adress!"

My ears twitched like a cat and I resist the urge to leave like just now. I can't leave. I won't. I'm behind him all the way, even if he doesn't really care.

"These guys really tire me out." Ami said. "Kazu, you can play in the second round. I'll pass."

"Guess that's how it is." Kazuya said, scratching the back of his neck. "I'll partner with Jin then."

I kept staring at the Otarangers for no reason. I wasn't glaring, just staring. Why did i feel so uncomfortable back there?

Jin turned to me. "Something wrong?"

"E-eh?" I jumped slightly. "N-nothing's wrong! I-I only... I m-mean... It's nothing." I ended up sighing at the end.

"What's going on with you today?" He asked quietly.

I shook my head while smiling in response. "Don't mind it. I'm not important. Just focus on the battle ahead."

Instead of letting it go, he looked even more worried. "What do you mean by that?"
