Innovator Research Facility

Kaidou Jin:

We used the car to get to our destination. I put on a straight face as we go along but my mind kept replaying to last year's events. Our whole lives were changed. I had no regrets in betraying the Innovators, but one. My grandfather. I betrayed him and that was what made things difficult.

The gate was closed so we hopped off the car and Yagami opened it with a card. The government had given it to him and now that we're here, things became a bit nostalgic. We walked the rest of the way and reached the holographic lake.

Ban had binoculars with him and he scanned the area. "It's just like what they reported."

"The entrance used for importing goods that you once broke into is probably being guarded by LBXs now." Yagami stated. Then he turned to me. "In that case..."

I nodded. "We have to use the emergency escape passage. Let's go." I led them through the forest, on an man-made path, until we reached a narrow clearing. "It's here."

"Here?" Ami asked. "But there's nothing here..."

I walked over to one of the trees and bent down, reaching between the cracks. "It should still work." I grabbed a lever and pulled it, opening a trapdoor.

"This is the emergency escape passage?" Ban asked.

"I thought it'd be a little more flashier than this..." Kazu muttered.

I stood up, laughing slightly at his comment. "There are still uses for old tricks like these. This isn't monitored by the facility's survailence system, so Mizel shouldn't notice us." Ban called Seeker base to report back to Takuya.

Niara Levanov:

We're in Jartan Island. There's me, Kirito, Hiro, Ran, Jessica, Yuuya and Asuka. Hiro called Seeker base and told them about the situation.

"Alright! Let's go in!" I was about to run in until someone grabbed my shirt and left me dangling 3 inches from the ground. "Hey! Let me go!"

"Idiot. You really want to charge in? This is a powerplant. And a nuclear one at that." Kirito said, drinking coke.

I stared at him with a face. "You... This is a mission and you still bring coke with you? Kirito, you- I'm going to shut up now 'cause I have nothing more to say..."

He let go off my shirt and i faceplanted to the ground. Just how were we able to work together back at Omega Dain again???

Kaidou Jin:

We walked through the barely luminated halls as Yagami explained the plan. Basically, we'll cut off the server room's network from all other sources so Mizel won't find out about AX-000 and then we head for the server room. Whoever gets there first will guard until the rest comes. Ban, Ami and Kazu were all with Prof. Yamano while I'm with Yagami.

"But why did Mizel seize this place in the first place?" Kazu asked.

"The Innovators used to develop high-grade LBXs. He could be using that data to strenghten his Vectors." Ban explained.

"There are LBX production lines here as well." Yagami stated. "He could be using those to mass-produce Vectors."

"At any rate, we must focus on salvaging these blueprints before Mizel notices them." Prof. Yamano said. Before Mizel notices...

At the end of the passage way, a door opened and we started sneaking through to make sure that we won't be spotted by LBXs. When we got to the control room, we prepared our LBXs and destroyed the enemy's before heading in. Prof. Yamano and the others went off ahead while Yagami and I stayed behind to sort things out.

I looked around then back at Yagami. "You were always giving commands from here."

There was silence for a moment but the reply cake afterwards. "Yeah."

"I've thought alone for a long, long time about what the Innovator incident meant to me in the end." I said aloud.

"Did you find an answer?" Yagami asked.

I looked down. "No... Only that I managed to make many friends because of that incident. And... That I got to see an entirely different world."

"I was the same way." He replied, still focusing on the computer. Then the systems cut off from the server room. "Alright. The server room has been cut off from the rest of the systems."

"We should leave now." I started running towards the door but then realize Yagami was still by his seat. "Yagami-san."

He snapped out of his daze and turned back to me. "Right, sorry. Let's go."

When the door opened, there were a lot of LBXs prepared to shoot us. Using Triton and General, we beat them all. We sent our LBXs ahead and battled our way through the facility.

"There's the entrance to the server room." Yagami said.

"It looks like Ban's group hasn't got there yet." I stated.

"Protect the room until the Professor arrives." Yagami ordered. He opened the door and we slipped in. We looked around cautiously and then relaxed. "It seems like there are no enemies here."

"Jin!" Behind us, Ban and the others had arrived.

"We just got here too." I informed them.

"Alright. I'll begin the salvage now." Prof. Yamano walked over to the main computer and started hacking through the server room's data, while Ban informed Seeker Base what we're doing. I would've asked about Eva but I'd rather go back and see for myself.

Prof. Yamano managed to find the data for the blueprints of AX-000 but they were all decomposed to simple number sequences. He used Ikaros Zero to sort out the mess of data and then imprinted the blueprints onto it.

When it was done, we started heading for the door, only to be stopped by Killer Droid Pegasus. At one point, the droid stepped on Ikaros Zero but didn't destory it, meaning that it was aiming for the data it had. After escaping, we started attacking again. Kazu's Achilles Deed entered Demonic Mode and used the attack function, Black Storm. I finished it off with Triton's Ocean Blast and the Killer Droid Pegasus exploded.

"Head back to Seeker Base at once, everyone. We have to hurry and restore the data." Prof. Yamano had ordered, so we did.

At Seeker Base, Ban had given Ikaros Zero to Prof. Oozora so she could help in the restoration of the data. Takuya had gone back to Tiny Orbit and brought Eva there too so she wouldn't be 'in the way', as Cobra stated it. What surprised me was that they say Eva was still asleep. Of course in a lot of days she would sleep in, but most times she would be absolutely restless.

Then, Hiro called in saying that the problem in Jartan Island has been solved. I could see Niara and Kirito arguing about who had defeated the most LBXs behind him while the others were doing their best to ignore them.

"Thank god..." Ami muttered. "But this just proves that all we can do to protect the world from Mizel is to recover the places he took over one by one..."

"You're right..." I agreed.

Then there was a problem. For some reason, we weren't able to contact Tiny Orbit. Yuuki called in through the emergency lines and told us that LBXs were attacking so we went over to check things out.
