I pick her up

Swing her around

Smile like she is

The only one in the world

Little do I know

On the other side of town

There's a girl

Tears are pooling in her eyes

I look at her

I would never ever hurt her

There's another girl

She's smiling

But inside she cries soundless cries

I smile at her

Love her with all my heart

And wonder how

She loves someone like me

But there's another girl

I don't know who

She's dying and yet

Still loves me unconditionally

I respect that other girl

Cause even though she adores me
