Chapter 19

I walked around the city for a couple of hours taking selfies with famous landmarks and checking out a few museums. I learnt a lot about the history of Barcelona but most likely the whole of Spain, I was very fascinated by it.

I wasn't hungry at all after the 'Big breakfast' I had at the hotel but I wanted to stop at a café and get a drink. What I really wanted was to call Yuri and tell her how my day was. I saw a little café a few meters away and walked towards it.

"Hello, may I have a bottle of juice please?" I said to the young girl behind the register. "Orange and mango" I added.

"$3.." she said and held out her hand. (A/N: I don't know how euros work soo..) I handed her the money and she passed over the bottle of juice she grabbed from the fridge.

"Thank you" I said and looked around for an empty table. The café had quite a few people in here. I looked around and noticed an empty table in a quiet corner and thought 'perfect'. I walked towards it and sat down.

"Mmm refreshing" I moaned after taking a sip of the juice. Orange and mango juice is my favourite. I pulled my phone out of my bag and noticed a couple of messages. I didn't bother to read them, I dialled Yuris number and waited for her to answer.

Call with Yuri🌺: "Hello?" she answered, sounding like she just woke up

"Yuri it's me" I said

"MARIA!!!" she shouted happily "I miss you" she added

"Aw hermosa, I miss you too" I cooed

"How are you bonita?" she asked

"I'm great. How are you?" I asked

"Me too. How was your flight?" she said

"It was ok. I met this guy--" I said and she interrupted

"Is he hot? What's his name? Do you like him?" she asked the questions quicker than I could run

"Yuri.." I chuckled

"Well, answer me" she said, determined to find the answers to her questions

"Fine! Well he is very attractive. His name is Gil. I just met him Yuri and besides I just want to be friends with him" I said truthfully

"Interesting.." she said like she was thinking about something "How did you guys meet?" she added

"He was sitting next to me on the plane" I stated

My eyes were suddenly caught by someone walking in the café. It was Gil.

"Yuri, I gotta go. I will call you later ok" I rushed in a polite way

"Promise?" she asked like a little kid

"I promise baby. I love you" I said

"Love you too" she said and hung up

*Call Ended*

I looked up to see that Gil noticed me and waved, I waved back. He paid the lady and walked towards me.

"Hey there stranger" he said as he sat opposite me, I chuckled.

"Have we met?" I asked, playing along with him.

"Well yeah, it was just yesterday" he said and we both laughed as we ended our joke.

"Jokes aside. How are you?" he smiled.

"I'm great. You?" I asked. I actually am feeling great now that I have spoken to Yuri.

"I'm good. How was your day?" he asked.

"It was amazing" I exclaimed happily.

"Really? What'd you do?" he asked, like he was really interested in knowing. I told him the things I got up to today and we talked for a while longer.

"One of my friends are having a party tomorrow. Do you maybe wanna come?" he asked.

"I would love to.. but it's my first day at work tomorrow" I sighed. I would have loved to have a drink or two.

"Damm.. maybe another time then" he said. "I gotta go but text me when you're free" he said and gave me a quick hug.

"I will, bye" I said and he left.

After a while of admiring the place, I grabbed my things and walked back to the hotel. When I arrived in my room, I completely collapsed on the couch.

"What a long day" I groaned to myself. I called yuri again like I promised and she wouldn't stop teasing me. No matter how many times I told her Gil and I are just friends, she kept teasing.

[Neymars Pov]

Gil and I were at the supermarket buying some food and alcohol for the party I was throwing tomorrow just because I needed it.

On our way home, Gil desperately wanted to go to his favourite café so I drove there. Everytime he comes to Barcelona, the first thing he asks for is this pastry thing, I forgot what it's called.

"Do you want anything bro?" he asked as we arrived to the café.

"I'm all good bro" I said and with that he left.

*10 minutes later*

"Does it take 10 minutes to buy one thing?" I hissed when he came back.

"Sorry bro. I was talking with Maria, you know the girl I met on the plane" he said to reassure that I knew who he was talking about.

"Ohh.. the girl you were smiling about when she text you" I said teasing him.

"Shut up and drive" he said and punched my arm. I started to sing 'Shut up and drive by Rihanna' just to tease him.

"Bro, you're a really bad singer" he laughed.

"Thanks bro, it means a lot" I said sarcastically and placed a hand on my heart. We both laughed and I finally drove home after teasing him.

We arrived home, we sat on the couch and played fifa. "Bro, I asked Maria if she wanted to come over for the party" he said whilst we were still playing.

"Goooooooooal!!" I shouted and threw my hands in the air. "Ohh yeah. What did she say?" I added, realizing he just told me something.

"She said she couldn't come. She starts work tomorrow" he said.

"Aw poor you. Are you ok?" I said and pouted my lips at him.

"You're annoying!" he exclaimed. I laughed.

"Jokes aside. Do you want to meet her?" he asked.

"Sure, she seems nice" I nodded.

"Great, can't wait to introduce the two of you" he said happily.

"I can't wait" I said like a little girl to tease him. He punched my arm hard,

"Calm down bro, I'm just teasing" I said and rubbed my arm.

"And that's what you get for teasing me" he laughed.

We played some more Fifa and I won every game, he groaned. "You tried and failed" I said and laughed.

"I will beat you one day" he said with an evil smirk.

"In your dreams" I laughed.
