[Marias Pov]

2nd September!

Today was a very special day! Everything was set up perfectly and everyone who was important to us came along, family and friends.

There were the young ones who were running around the place whilst us adults stood around in the lounge drinking and talking.

"Yuri, I'm so glad you could make it" I greeted her with a loving hug. I have not seen her for almost a year now but we made sure to keep in contact everyday.

"Of course mi prima. I wouldn't miss it for the world" she smiled widely.

"Hey Ney" she smiled as she looked down to see our hands locked together.

I have to say, we have come a long way from a year ago. Things were so difficult for us after the birth of our child so we (technically I) had decided to take a break but all that did was make us miss each other and get back together again. I cringed at the thought of us arguing like that but I also laughed at the memory of how we couldn't take a day without each other.

-Flashback-

"After everything, I think we should take a break" I said sadly, knowing that would break his heart.

"WHAT THE FUCK! NO!" he yelled angrily. "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!" he continued to yell but that only made me angry at him.

"NOTHING WRONG? THIS IS PURE BULLSHIT!" I retaliated. I tried to tell him calmly but I was just so sick and tired of his whining all the damn time.

"WHAT'S BULLSHIT?" he yelled and threw his hands in the air angrily.

"YOU! YOUR ALWAYS WHINING TO ME ABOUT HOW BAD TRAINING WENT WHEN WE HAVE BIGGER THING'S TO BE TAKING CARE OF" I shouted and pointed towards Nicolas' room. "YOU'RE ALWAYS SO WORRIED ABOUT FOOTBALL THAT YOU FORGET YOUR OWN FAMILY" I was raging with anger right now that I just couldn't stop. "YOU LEFT US FOR 3 FUCKING DAYS AND WHERE WERE YOU? GETTING DRUNK OFF YOUR ASS AT THE CLUB" It seemed as if realization had hit him after I said it. I was so done with him. He could kiss our relationship 'goodbye'.
