[Marias Pov]

When we arrived at the beach, there were loads of people so we decided to go around the other side where there were less people and where it didn't look as beautiful but still looked nice.

"Come on cutie" I said as I helped Davi out of his car seat.

"Thank you" he mumbled in his cute voice and struggled to run in the sand, towards a pile of sticks.

"Davi, Tenha cuidado!" Ney yelled from the car. "I know, Pai" Davi responded with a thumbs up.

The water looked so nice right now and I couldn't wait to take a dip. The sun sure was burning right now so I threw my shades on and a sunhat.

"Is your friend here?" Gil asked as he came and stood next to me.

"Not yet. She's on her way" I replied and smirked at him. Why does he want to know?

"What? I was just asking" he defended. "Besides, I have a girl and you already know that" he shook his head and chuckled.

"I'm just messing with you, bud" I laughed from the use of the nickname.

"Seriously?" he asked.

"Yeess" I dragged out.

"Anyways, I'm gonna go see what Ney is doing" I said and left him as he looked out onto the water.

"Hey, do you need help?" I offered as I saw him carry an umbrella and Davi's bag to the sand.

"Could you just close the door and lock the car please, babe?" he asked and let me sink my hand into his pocket to fish out the keys. I nodded and went to shut the door and lock up.

"Mariiiaaa!" I heard my name get called out as I walked towards the guys on the sand. Is that Paula?

I turned around to see who it was and it was who I suspected, Paula and a pram? Her son!

"Heeyy" I jogged to her and wrapped my arms around her body as she did the same but I was careful not to bump into the pram.

"I brought my son" she said and lifted the sunroof of the pram so I could see the little one sleeping.

"Aww how cute" his cute little nose and eyes scrunched up slightly when the sun shone on his face. His hair was brown, like hers but he didn't have her nose. He had the chubbiest cheeks that I just wanted to squeeze.

"He's two, right?" I asked as I adored his features.

"Yeah. I know he's a bit big for his age" she chuckled.

"Come on" I motioned her over towards the guys. "Can I push him?" I asked.

"Of course" she smiled and followed me.

Everything was going well. Ney, Davi and Gil were playing around in the water while I was sitting under the umbrella with Javier in my arms as his mother watched over him.

"Do you want to be mother one day?" she asked, stealing my attention away from Javier for a second to look wide-eyed at her.

"Yeah, one day" I mumbled and looked at Ney as he played around with Davi. Would I still be with him in 10 years time? Could he possibly be the father of my child one day?
