I saw Jewels casually waiting by my locker with a huge eager smile on her face like she had big news.
"Jewels are you okay?"
"NOPE."
I laughed.
"Dude what's your deal?"
"BLOOM I HAVE A BOYFRIEND."
I stood staring at her like she had four heads.
Jewels was pretty and all but there is pretty much no guy that isn't afraid of her mass confidence and intensity.
"ITS MARCUS."
Well that makes sense.
Marcus is one of the guys from her one of her other side friend groups.
He's quirky,
Loud,
Awkward,
Funny,
Basically a male Jewels.
I wasn't surprised they were destined to happen.
I eagerly screamed with Jewels like any good best friend would do.
She walked to class with Marcus and I watched them skip down the hallway like lovers.
It was cute but I didn't have time with their relationship.
I have my own problems.
I have rencountered my old crush AND I have a girlfriend.
But I love them both.
What the heck is even happening anymore?
James saw me in the hallway and approached me.
"Hey Bloom, so I'm going out Friday night to go see some horror movies and I hear your into that stuff, you want to come? Jewels is coming."
"Oh I'd love too but how is Jewels coming..... "
"Marcus is kinda my best friend....."
"OOOOH right."
"I'll meet you guys there."
I saw Rose at the other end of the hall and I didn't want her to know so I told him I had to go and cut him off.
"WAIT BLOOM."
I ignored him and kept walking to French class.
Finally I started sprinting until I could no longer see him.
I looked back and tripped on the stairs.
He bent down and started picking up my books panting.
"Dude what's your rush."
I tiredly pointed a finger to the French room.
"Sorry I was just going to tell you-"
"Yes?"
"I'll see at 7:00 on Friday night."
