Angela's POV
Wednesday, June 1
"WAAAAKKKEEEEE UUUUUPPPP!!!" someone screamed into my face. I slowly opened my eyes to see my best friend Christina jumping on my bed.
"WHHHHHYYYYY" I mocked.
"It's the last day of Junior Year! Summer is almost here! Come on! Let's go and get this over with!!" She cheered and went downstairs to the kitchen.
I don't actually like school at all. My high school is full of fake girls that only talk to you when they need something and boys who pretend to like you just to sleep with you. Well I'm not easily fooled so I mainly just stay with Christina over here. By the way, if you're wondering why she's here so early, she lives across the street and I have her a key since she practically lives here.
I glanced at the clock which said 6:45.
"REALLY CHRIS?!" I yelled.
"WHAT?!" She yelled back.
"WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" I screamed not caring if I woke up the rest of my family. I quickly changed into some white shorts, a black tank top, black adidas hoodie, a black beanie, and all black shoes. I went to the bathroom to brush my hair, which I left in my natural waves, brushed my teeth, and out on light makeup.
I ran down the stairs grabbing Christina by her arm and pulling her to the door.
"BUT MY CEREAL!" She yelled as I pulled her to my truck.
"If it makes you feel better, I'll buy you a slurpee!" I said with a cheesy smile and I got in the drivers seat.
"Only if it's Cherry" she pouted.
We just looked at each other and started laughing. I started the car and drove to 7-11 to get the slurpees. I checked the time. 7:05. Perfect timing. I pulled into the school, parked and we walked to our lockers. Thank god the seniors talked the teachers into doing exams early because today is pretty much a half day. I find it pointless to go but my parents make me.
~{Skip to after school}~
I found Christina and went to my truck. Luckily we got out of there before they started silly stringing the hallways.
"What do you want to do to celebrate being seniors?" Christina asked poking my side as I drove.
"Chris, we practically aren't seniors yet, at least not until school starts ag-"
"NOOOOO! Don't finish that sentence! We just got on summer break!" Christina laughed.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Put my right hand up in defense, laughing. "What did you're mom say about our trip?"
"Well she's okay with it, your mom talked to her."
"Sweet!" I yelled.
In a few days we were going to Christina's Family Beach House, or as I like to call it 'A Paradise at the Roses'. It's in California, right on the beach. I've never been, but Chris has shown me a lot of pictures. And this year, it's only us two! We are so excited!
