*One month later ~ October*
Saturday, a week before Halloween.

"HALLOWEEN IS IN A WEEK OH MY GOD IM SO EXCITED."

"Calum shut the fuck up."

"Damn what's got you all moody?"

"Something called I DONT HAVE A COSTUME YET."

"Are you kidding me?"

"Nope."

"But, you're always so on top of it." Calum pouted, sitting next to me on the couch as we hung out in his basement.

"I know, I have no idea what's happened this year. I've completely forgotten about it. It's driving me crazy."

"Just look up ideas online."

"But those are all so basic and boring. I need something like, different."

"Be a cat." Calum said with a smirk.

"Oh F off." I pushed his shoulder, "but seriously, help me please." I begged, dragging out the 'please'.

"Fine, fine." Calum agreed, pulling out his laptop.

I snuggled up to my best friend as he typed away in the search engine for 'last minute creative Halloween costume ideas'.

"Way to be specific."

"Shush."

"We've been at this for hours." He groaned, rubbing a hand over his face.

"One more time."

"Jules we've been on every single one of these websites twice. There's nothing. You're just gonna have to use that creative brain of your's."

I sighed deeply and rested my head against his shoulder. He stiffened and then relaxed, exiting safari and closing his laptop.

"What the hell am I gonna do."

"Calm down, it'll be fine"

"What're you gonna be?" I asked.

"Nia wants to do some characters from a tv show thing, I don't know it's a weird idea-"

"What show?"

He took a breath before answering, "Scream Queens." Calum mumbled.

I tried to contain my laughter but it failed, as I bent over in giggles.

God I hated that word.

Giggle.

"What's so funny?" He demanded, his face a bit red.

"You, Scream Queens, Halloween, couple's costume oh my god! It's so not you!"

"I know but, she really wants to do it." Calum scratched the back of his neck as I got to my feet again.

"What characters?"

I watched the first episode and had fallen in love already. Ari and Nick yes god. I was hoping Chanel number five gets murdered by the red devil though. Ugh. Abigail Breslin.

"She wanted me to be the devil and her be Chanel number one. Obviously." He joked, having watched the show with me, "Something about being cute yet weirdly creepy."
