"Morning."

I rolled over in my bed as the windows in my room were suddenly thrust open, letting the early morning light in.

"Oh god, what time is it?" I asked while rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I was getting ready to hear something to the effect of seven thirty in the morning.

"It's uh," Luke walked over and stood at the foot of my bed, "it's eleven."

I stopped rubbing my eyes and looked at the messy blonde in front of me.

"Are you serious?" I got out bed, heading to the bathroom to at least brush my teeth, "You should've woken me up earlier! You had plans and stuff right?" I yelled as I squirted tooth paste on my tooth brush.

"July it's fine," I could see Luke leaning against the door frame in the mirror, "everyone went out already, it's just us in the house today. Tomorrow we have plans."

I stopped panicking and brushed with less angst, nodding slowly to signal that I understood.

Once if I finished brushing my teeth, I went back into my room and changed into something a bit more presentable. I figured we were just going to be in the house so leggings and a sweatshirt would suffice.

I looked at my phone and clicked the home button, seeing I had a missed call from Calum, sometime in the night.

"There's breakfast in the kitchen." Luke told me, signaling for me to follow him there.

I wasn't a big fan of breakfast foods, but I guess I was a sucker for waffles today.

"Hey Luke?"

"Yeah?"

"How did I get to bed last night? Cause if I remember, we fell asleep on the couch."

"Oh," he let his fork dangle before answering me, "I carried you back. You were cold and the couch wasn't that comfortable."

"Oh," I took some time to process his words, "Thanks for that."

"No problem."

We ate the rest of our breakfast in silence, until my phone buzzed again, signaling I was getting a call from Michael.

"Uh, I have to take this. I'll be outside." I told Luke, pointing to the deck as he nodded and grabbed another pancake from the large stack on the counter.

I slid the answer button, bringing the phone up to my ear as I stood outside in the chilly winter air.

"You are in so deep."

"Oh hi Michael, how are you?"

"Shush do you realize how deep in the web you are?"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"The Hemmings web?"

"Michael-"

"You like him."

"I do not."

"Do. You kissed him."

"Do not and who told you that?"

"You do." He answered instead, ignoring my question.

"Before I go to you and rip your ball sack off shut up."

"God damn," I heard him finally take a breath, "sorry for being curious."

"Curiosity might've killed the cat but it's also going to cause your inability to have children."
