The flight to Florida left me jet lagged, cranky, groggy, and all around tired. I wasn't exactly in the mood for playing three whole games tomorrow. Especially in this humidity.
from julyy:
HEY HEY HEY CAL GUESS WHATI groaned softly as coach checked in at our hotel, everyone was just lounging around in the lobby.
Louis was fast asleep, his head unconsciously resting on Harry's lap. Louis didn't seem to realize the situation and Harry couldn't stop grinning at the eighteen year old.
I smiled at them, then looked at Liam and quickly avoiding my gaze. I saw Niall trying to chat up this girl near the elevators. He leaned on his suitcase and the thing slipped from underneath him, sending him tumbling to the ground. The girl laughed nervously, stepped into the elevator and left, leaving Niall lying face down on the carpet, most likely crying at himself.
I told him not to get the suitcase with four wheels.
Luke was on the phone with someone, who I could only assume was his mom or something. I mean, who else would he need to call?
I remembered july's text.

love you too fudge muffin :-)))))"Alright boys, get over here" The coach said, gathering all of us in circle.
Harry shook Louis awake and he tiredly sat up, rubbing his eyes. It was sad that this was his last year, both their last years.
"I've got your room assignments, as soon as I hand you your keys I want you up in your rooms napping-" Coach warned.
"But it's only one thirty." Someone spoke up.
"Yeah one thirty our time," Coach responded, "It's four thirty here. I want all of you to get as much sleep as possible, then dinner at six. Everyone meet down here. We'll talk strategy over dinner but I want everyone up in their rooms by eight thirty Florida time tonight. Got it?"
Everyone nodded their heads, repeating tired 'yeah's and 'okay's.
"Captain and co captain," coach handed Louis the cards, "Tomlinson, Styles."
The two turned around and towards the elevators.
"Payne, Horan."
They took their key.
"Lee, Sugg."
"Lester, Howell." Coach said slowly.
We really shouldn't have let those two come. They were going to die.
"Lerman, Akagawa."
"James, Rodriguez."
"Ramos, Fong."
And you wouldn't believe it, but Luke and I were the only ones left.
"Hood and Hemmings."
I snatched the key from my coach's hand. He had no regret in making this choice on his face.
"See you boys at five thirty!" He called, heading in a different direction as I was entering the elevator with Luke.
Oh boy was it awkward.
