Falling for Marshall

Chapter 22

Leah P.O.V:
After the meeting was done at my dance studio Crystal, I stayed another hour in my office to sort out finance stuff with my assistant, Adriana. I look up from my files on the desk as my office door opens and Adriana walks in with Starbucks.

"You are a star! Thank you." I smile as she places one infornt of me.

"It's no trouble at all babe. So tell me..You and Eminem...Are you a thing now?" Adriana says wiggling her brows and leaning back.
I could trust Adriana with everything, that's why when i'm off on holiday or on sick leave, Adriana takes over the studio and if I can't make it to meetings she usually goes for me. She's originally from Beverly Hills, so you could imagine how stylish she is and posh. She pushes back her brown silky hair and was looking at me with her green shiny eyes.

I didn't really know what me and Marshall were yet..I mean are we even a 'thing'?

"Well?" Adriana says placing her coffee on the table.

"I..I'm not sure actually." I sigh and pick up my pen to sign a few papers. "You didn't tell me the Lorkes family were having their kids dancing here." I say looking at the papers. The Lorkes family were really known around LA and Detroit, every single member in their family were models and their father owns his own bank.

"Stop changing the subject Chay!" Adriana whines, oh yeah..Adriana was in the gang, she took a stab wound for me and since then we've gotten close. When I moved to Chicago we were still in contact but she moved back to her home town Beverily Hills and she's changed back to the galm chick like she was before. Anyway she's engaged and now living in Detroit.

"I'm not Addie.." I sigh that was her nickname. "I actully don't know..I mean we kissed-" I get interupted by Kacey walking in.

"Who's face did you snog off this time!" She says smiling and all hyper. Me and Adriana both laugh and hug her.

"Hey Addie." Kacey says and they start a convo as I go to pick up my phone.

Leah: "Hello?" It was my home number.

Avery: "Hey Mom! When you coming home?"

Leah: "I'm just leaving sweetie..You want anything from the local store?"

Avery: "Yah, Uhmm how about toffee!"

Leah: "Yah, Uhmm how about no!"

Avery: "Mooom!"

Leah: "No sweetie, you have a dentist appointment tomorrow."

Avery: "Can you get me some cookies...Oh! And not the healthy ones you eat.."

Leah: "Okay Aves."

Avery: "Okay Mom, I'm going to go. Oh wait daddy wants to talk. Love you.."

Leah: "I love you baby..."

Marshall: "Doesn't everyone?"

Leah: "Oh..Marshall." Both Adriana and Kacey look at me.

Marshall: "Hey, The kids were getting bored and they want to come over to mine..I mean if thats fine with you." I think for a moment, it's only fair for Marshall to look after them too.

Marshall: "Leah? You still there?" I clear my throat quickly.

Leah: "Yes..Uhr Yeah I'm here...and if the kids want to go then...they can go."

Marshall: "Okay..Uhr I'll see you later then?"

Leah: "Yeah, you will. Bye."

With that we both hang up, sighing I finsh of my starbucks and sign the last paper infornt of me, the rest i could do at home. LL cool J had a concert and he needed some dancers so I had to pick them out by tomorrow and get them training, I only had 3 weeks to teach them the dance moves, it was going to be non stop training.
