It's 8pm and dark outside, me and Kacey are still in my bedroom and Drew and Chris came to join us. Drew put the TV on and the volume to the TV was on the fullest I quickly stood up and ran to the TV and turned it down so Jace and Liane wouldn't wake up "Drew turn that down." I say tapping his head, for the last half an hour both of the kids have been messing my room up and been playing with Kacey. I get up and walk to the kitchen with all three of them following me. "Is it done?" Kacey asks me opening the oven. "Almost, wait..yeah it is pass me the oven gloves please." Kacey passes me the gloves. I take out the hot dish and place it on the stove. "I'm hungry auntie Chay..is the lasagna done yet?" Chris ask sitting on the counter next to his brother. "Yes baby it is, let it cool down." I reply back and smile at Chris who nods his head back at me.

"Soo...how's school, you like it there?" I ask Chris and Drew both as I place my elbows on the counter between the gap that separating them both, and place my head in both of my palms that are resting on my cheek. "It's fun..We have a field trip soon." Drew looks down at me whilst he talks. "But it's a surprise for the hard work we did." Chris finishes of his sentence. "Auntie chay can we ask you something?" Drew asks. I stand up straight and lean on the counter next to the stove.

"Course you can sweetie..what is it" I smile at them both. Kacey walks over to Brooklyn, who's now slowly waking up from her nap. "Family is allowed to come to the field trip with us.." Chris tells me. "Oh, so both mommy and daddy are going then." I ask looking at them confused, where is this going exactly I think to myself. "No, we wanted to ask if you can come instead." Chris finishes off. "I'd love to join you both with your mommy and daddy sweetie" I reply back accepting their invitation. "But we don't want them to come...we only want you to come." Drew whines kicking his legs against the counter door that he's sitting on. "But what about Mommy and Daddy..." I ask them looking at them both, they both look sad. "They fight too much.." Chris answers looking at Drew and shoving his shoulder for him to talk like this was planned out. "Yeah they fight a lot and mommy said shes leaving and taking us and Brooklyn with her." "She said that to you baby?" I ask them getting worried. "No she said it to daddy when they were arguing." Wow they heard everything, they went through this...just like I did when I was their age.

"And what did daddy say.." I wait for a reply. "Bad words." Drew said "A lot of bad words" Wow. I had no idea whatsoever that they were fighting, they are like the perfect couple that everyone dreams about, but they hid that very well cause in the morning they seemed normal, perfectly fine to be exact. "And when was the last time they were arguing honey" I asked them both. Chris looked up to meet my eyes. "Just after Uncle Marshall left."

I looked over their shoulders towards the sofa where Jace and Liane were sleeping. Liane's back was against the sofa and her head was on Jace's chest, his head was on her hair and had his arms wrapped around her. They looked perfect together...Like nothing was wrong. maybe I should talk to them...Maybe not, it's their business.
"I'm hungry" They both whine. I make them both sandwiches whilst dinners ready, I like it when we all eat as a family. Jace never be's around much so it's just me and Liane and the kids most of the time, but since Jace is here I want to eat like a family...That's it. Maybe that's why they're arguing cause Jace is hardly home. Curse you Jace. I make a mental note in my head to remind myself to ask him. In the meanwhile I send The kids to my bedroom with Kacey so I can get started on the salad, chicken and also the dessert. I start on the dessert first, Chocolate cake with custard, the kids love chocolate cake and custard. I mix all the ingredients together and place the cake in the oven and set the timer, next I start on the custard, using a box mix for that. once done with the dessert I start chopping the salad and placing it in the blow and placing it on the table. I take my apron of and place it on the counter. I phone Marshall to invite him over.
