Leah's P.O.V:
After persuading Marshall for half an hour, he finally decides to come with me and the kids to Jace's place. It's not the best idea to have Marshall and Jace in the same room but I need to show Jace that Marshall won't hurt me again. He needs to know how happy I am. Hell, maybe he can talk to us like he used to.

"Leah!" Marshall shouts for the fifth time. I roll my eyes and stand up from my dressing table chair. We went back to my place since I had to get ready and so did the kids.

I throw my mascara on the table and grab my coat from the bed. I close the lights in the room and make my way down. Marshall was standing in the foyer with Avery and Aron.

"You don't do it like that!" Avery giggles as she takes her doll from Marshall. Avery was teaching him different hairstyles. Currently, she was showing Marshall how to do a fishtail braid.

"You pull this under here like so.." She starts.

"Okay, Miss Avery." Marshall says taking the doll back as Avery and Aron giggle. "It can't be that hard, you just basically- Wait do I go under or over?" Marshall asks.

"You should stick to rapping daddy." Aron says.

"Is that so?" Marshall chuckles. He looks up at me when he hears me laugh. "You ready?" He smiles.

"Yeah." I say and return a smile.

"Go get your jacket from mommy, Ave's." Marshall says as he helps Aron put on his jacket.

I switch of all the lights and set up the security alarm as Marshall takes Avery and Aron to the car. I close the door behind me and walk towards Marshall's car.

Adam, the security smiles as he walks towards me with a clipboard in one hand and a walkie talkie in the other. He waves at Aron and Avery as they wave at him and then turns his attention towards me again.

"Hi, Miss Lynn." He nods.

"Hi, Adam." I smile as I slide my arms into my jacket. "What's up?" I ask.

"A man by the name of..." He looks down at his clipboard. "Travis Capeson came by." He tells me.

I look up at him in shock and feel my self starting to get a little shak. Travis came...Travis came, he knows where I live....shit!

"You didn't let him in did you?" I ask, my heart beating faster by the second.

"No Miss..." Adam says slowly as he watches me closely. "Are you okay..Should I not let him the next time?" Adam asks. I shake my head quickly.

"Never let him in. If my kids are at home with one of the housemaids or family and he shows up, you call me straight away. Don't tell anyone that's in the house about him not even family. Just call me." I tell him.

"Of course Miss." He smiles and starts to walk away. "Have a great night." He adds.

Well you just fucking ruined my 'great' night...

I stay there frozen to my spot as a few memories play in my head. Memories of when Travis and I were a couple. Memories of when it was Travis, Ray, Kacey and me in a gang. Memories of when he came back with Ray and when he attacked me in my own apartment!

I get snapped out of my thought by Avery and Aron doing the horn. I watch as they sit on Marshall's lap and repeatedly do the horn and call my name. I smile a fake smile and push my hair back as I walk towards the car.

"Put on your belts." Marshall says to the kids as I open the door and slide into the passangers seat. "Everything alright?" He asks me.

"Yeah. Everything's fine, security was just double checking on the new visitors list for the week." I tell him and clear my throat awkwardly. Marshall nods his head slowly in response and glances at me a few times as we drive out of my driveway.
