Falling for Marshall

Chapter 23

Leah P.O.V:
It was Christmas eve and the kids were helping wrap up the last of the presents. The kids had both got Marshall a silver chain and had got Kim perfume and make up sets.

"Could you wrap this one mom." Aron says handing me the chain they got Marshall, I open the box and straighten the chain out and then unwrap a roll of blue and white wrapping paper to start wrapping the box.

"You think dad will like it?" Avery asks.

"If he doesn't i'll keep it." I reply wrapping the box.

"No way, I'm going to make sure he likes it." Aron laughs and hands his sister a cup of coco.

"He will love it sweetie. Thank you." I smile taking my cup of coffee from Aron, it wasn't the best idea to have a cup of coffee at 11 in the night, but I had to wrap the presents and help Mrs Lavign and Scarlett tidy up before they go, I let the kids stay up late tonight so they would stop begging me already!

"I wonder who that is.." I sigh and stand up to open the front door. It was Marshall with Kim and Alaina and Hailie. I had told Tony to let Marshall's family in along with Ray and Kacey and Jace and Liane and also Adriana anytime they wanted to come.

Adriana was spending Christmas with us here because her and her fiancé were taking a break. She was upstairs sleeping.

"Hey...What a suprise." I smile and step aside so they could come in, it was fucking freezing outside and was snowing.

"Yeah. The kids wanted to come around." Kim says hugging me. I had gotten really close with Kim in the past two or three months.

"You're bithday tomorrow isn't it hai hai." I say holding her hand.

"Yeah, I can't wait! Grandma's going to be there!" She says excited. I had no idea Marshall had patched up things with Debbie, he hadn't told me. Debbie came around here once but I wasn't home and it was a month ago and after that there was no sign of her. Hailie and Alaina run of inside to the family room and kneel down by the Christmas tree.

Kim takes a seat on the couch and Marshall takes a seat on tbe single leather couch, something was off about them.

"So, how about Christmas here?" I ask Kim and Marshall as I fold my legs underneath me on the couch. Mrs Lavign comes in with a tray of hot coco for the kids, Marshall and Kim, She hands me my second cup of coffee. Looks like I won't be getting any sleep.

"Sounds great, I could be with Hailie and Alaina and also Avery and Aron." Marshall says looking at the kids play by the tree.

"That's if you're not to busy with your hoes.." Kim mumbles loud enough for me and Marshall to hear. Marshall shoots her a look but she doesn't see it since she was avoiding eye contact. What was going on??

"We're gonna have a party for Hailie tomorrow at night. You should come, bring Liane and Kacey and thier family too." Marshall says drinking his hot coco.

"Thank you for the invite. Where are you planning to do it?" I ask.

"Oh, Hailie wanted it at ice skating place." Marshall says. Kim mutters something under her breath but this time I don't hear. But Marshall does.

"Kim-" Marshall says but gets cut off by Kim.

"Leah where's your kitchen again? I need some water." She says making up and excuse to get away from Marshall.

"This way." I say standing up and taking her to the kitchen. I open the fridge to hand her a water bottle.

"Whoa..Kim." I say taking a step back since she was right in my face. "Are you trying to..Smell me?" I ask confused, she sighs and shakes her head.
