Falling for Marshall

Chapter 26

Leah's P.O.V:
I  zip up my suitcase and take it downstairs. I had a fashion event in California this week and on the same week Dr dre was hosting a party. Aron and Avery were staying with Ray since it was my week to have them and not Marshall's. Plus Marshall was also flying over to California and since he had a private jet he had asked me and Kacey to ride with him to Cali.

My relationship with Marshall was great. We were friends and that's all we will ever be! That's what I keep telling myself we had a few moments where we were almost about to kiss, but I would pull back and snap out of it right away. The things he said to me a long time ago still hurt so I can't really be nothing more than friends with him.

"Oo...I love the outfit." Liane says walking into the foyer. I had on a pair of Versace cheetah heels on with blue ripped jeans, a white sheer top and a black jacket. I put on my Parada side side bag and take a look at my outfit. Perfect!

"Thanks." I smile.

"Is Marshall picking you up?" Liane asks sitting down on the leather chair we have in the foyer.

"No, Proof is." I say checking my phone. "You can still come with me and Kacey, you love fashion events. All the big designers are going to be there, plus I also have a shoot for GAP." I say.

"No. I think i'll sit out this time. You and Kacey enjoy yourself....Maybe you can find a hot celeb at Dre's party that you could hook up with." Liane says leaning back and smirking.

"No one will be hooking up with anyone!" I laugh and walk over to her and take a seat next to her.

"Not even with Marshall?" Liane pouts.

"Espically not with Marshall! I can't get myself involved with him again." I say leaning back.

"Oh come on Leah.." Liane sighs.

"No..Please Liane I don't want to talk about this again." I chuckle, Liane huffs and shakes her head. 

"Leah. Find someone sweetie...You can't just stay alone forever." Liane says.

"To be honest with you. Being alone is like my thing now." I chuckle but Liane doesn't find it funny. "Please Liane...All of you have been bugging me about getting into a relationship." I sigh and stand up.

"We all say that because you look upset all the time." Liane says leaning foward.

"Okay.." I shrug. "That doesn't mean that I have to be in a relationship." I say.

"No. What it means is that you need get back with Marshall." Liane says standing up. I roll my eyes in response.

"We talking about Marshall again?" Ray says coming from the kitchen with a red bull in his hand.

"No. We aren't." I sigh and pull out my phone.

"Alright. Leah, we'll leave you alone.." Liane sighs.

"Yeah...You can do what you want." Ray shrugs.

"Thank you!" I sigh in relief, Liane chuckles and shakes her head.

"I have to pick up Chris and Drew....Well baby girl. You have fun in California. I'll be watching you and Kacey on live television! Oh and savanna, good luck." Liane says walking over to me amd embracing me into  hug. Savanna was Kacey's cousin and was like a sister to me, she he helped us design the collection.

"Thanks." I smile at her after the hug.

"Have fun. Bye!" Liane says as she walks out. After half an hour Proof finally arrives with Kacey. I load up my luggage and we all say bye to Ray before we head off.
