Armed with this new information, Alex enlists the help of her new hacker friend to gain access into a secure government database to learn more about her mother. They uncover all the info they need, including an arrest record. Aris uses the information of the arrest record to pinpoint the exact date and location of where Alex was born. He then hacks the security footage of said night so that the three can watch the event unfold. As Alex reels from the emotional impact of this revelation, Aris continues to delve deeper into the files. His computer station eventually fails and he suspects the government is aware of his illicit access. The three hide out in Aris's apartment and hide Alex as guardians – futuristic law enforcers – scan the room and use a bio-metric analysis device on Aris and Milo to determine if they are lying.
