After some investigation, the truth of the virus is revealed. In fact, it's not a virus at all. It is a result of a toxic atmosphere that is just starting to show its effects on people and wildlife. Alex makes it her mission to warn the remaining population, while devising a plan to counteract these effects. For this, she and Milo will need to break into the Facility to steal some expensive equipment. Meanwhile, her other friend Aris has been tasked with breaking into the leader's compound and hacking into the leader's private computer network to see what else the leader has been hiding.
