Scene 6

After narrowly avoiding capture, Alex and her two friends make a run for it and escape the guardians. The three leave the pyramid and instruct the automated driver to take them to the address where Alex was born. The neighbourhood has undergone vast change within the past two decades and is all but abandoned. They locate Alex's mother's old apartment, and have a look around. Alex then decides to bunk there for the night. To avoid suspicion, her friends return to their respective living quarters. During the night, Alex discovers a secret box that has been concealed under the floorboards for all these years. Moments later, the door of the apartment is blown off its hinges and a dozen guardians funnel through. Alex attempts escape, but is quickly apprehended and brought in for questioning.
