Scene 20

Alex is all but dying, and at the last minute, her mother arrives on the island with a small rescue team. They find Alex lying in the forest, unconscious and barely breathing. She is in bad shape and doesn't have much time left. Her mother and the team scoop Alex up and bring her aboard their craft where she receives immediate lifesaving medical attention. The team of trained medical staff keep Alex alive long enough for her to be brought into a major city and transferred to a hospital where she can receive proper medical care. All of Alex's family and friends gather by her side, along with thousands of other loyal supporters who have learned that Alex was responsible for saving the once-doomed planet. Alex remains in the hospital for a few days as she recovers, and when she is finally released, she addresses the crowd and thanks them for their support. She then makes an impromptu speech to the crowd of thousands, many of whom are encouraging her to become the new leader of Earth in her father's absence. Her message is simple and to the point, but powerful. In the end, she learns a valuable life lesson and is looking forward to the next chapter of her life.
