Once the singing contest ended,  a group of minstrels began playing some lively tunes, as many of the patrons started dancing and laughing.  Vili grinned as his gaze turned to Dis's, as he approached her. "May I share this dance with you, love?" asked Vili in a loving tone.  Dis smiled back.  "I love to share a dance with you, Vili!" said Dis, as they stepped out onto the dance floor and danced among the couples. Thorin kept his eyes on the couple.  "Thorin, why don't you take Nattie on the dance floor?" spoke up Balin.  "I'm in no mood for dancing right now, Balin!" Thorin scowled.  Nattie rolled her eyes, she noticed, much to her annoyance that Thorin has been preoccupied by having an eagle eye on his sister and Vili.  Suddenly, Vili grinned, as he grabbed Dis by the backside, pulling her close to him, as he pretty much covered her mouth with his,  in a passionate kiss. Suddenly, Vili slipped his left hand, as he placed it playfully on Dis's right breast.  And this set off Thorin.  Thorin stood up as he charged at the dwarf, as he threw a punch at Vili, right in the nose. "THORIN!" screamed Dis in anger. "Go home DIS! NOW!" barked Thorin. "NO!"  Dis screamed right back.

"Thorin, what are you doing?!!" Nattie screamed, as she ran towards him. "Nattie, you and Dis go home right now!" barked Thorin, when suddenly Vili grabbed Thorin by the collar.  "So, you're playin' big brother hey? I didn't do anything wrong with you sister! I love you sister!! Why can't you accept the fact that I LOVE HER?!" bellowed Vili.  Suddenly Thorin shoves Vili off of him, and he pointed his finger at the dwarf. "Because you're a rogue! A thief! I am NOT going to have my sister fall for a good for nothing THIEF!!" shouted Thorin.  "Stop it, Thorin! Leave him alone!!" shrieked Dis.  "I told you to go home now!!" barked Thorin.  Dwalin approaches Dis and Nattie.  "Come on you two, let's do as he says." said Dwalin.  "GET OFF OF ME! I'm not going anywhere, pal!!" screamed Dis, as she shoved Dwalin out of the way.  Nattie stood back as she watched the two dwarves continuing to punch at each other.  "Leave Ered Luin! I never want to see your face around here again!" snarled Thorin. "FINE!!" barked Vili, as he stormed out of the pub.

"We're going home, it's getting late!" snarled Thorin, as he spun around, to exit the pub. All of sudden, Dis angrily approaches her brother, slapping him across the face. "I HATE YOU!! I HATE YOU!! Why do you do this to me?!!" screamed Dis, as she darted out of the door, running down towards her home.  She quickly packed her belongings, as she decided to chase after Vili.   Meanwhile, Thorin, Nattie, Balin and Dwalin left the pub.    Balin and Dwalin walked another direction towards their home, while Nattie and Thorin headed towards their home, hardly speaking.  After a while as they walked, Nattie spoke up.  "I hope you're proud of yourself, Thorin! You just ruined your sister's happiness!" snarled Nattie.   "This matter doesn't concern you, Nattie! SO BUTT OUT!" shouted Thorin, as he spun around and glared at her.  "Butt out? Let me tell you something, Thorin! She is your sister, and also MY BEST FRIEND!! If she's not happy, I'M NOT HAPPY!" Nattie  shouted back.

"I am not in the mood for you to pick a fight with me too, Nattie!" snarled Thorin.  "Thorin, you are going to find your sister, and you're going to talk to her and Vili both! You are going to learn to accept Vili, if you wish it or not!!" said Nattie.  The more Nattie continued to speak about Vili and Dis, the more a part of Thorin wanted to strangle Nattie.   Finally, he couldn't hold back, as he lifted Nattie up by her throat, pinning her to a tree. "I told you to stay out of this, woman!!" hissed Thorin, angrily, his voice dark and ominous.  "LET ME GO OF ME!!" Nattie cried out and choked.  Thorin held onto her for a minute, then finally dropped her to the ground, as he stormed into the house.  As Nattie approached the door to enter the house, she realized the door is locked.  Thorin had locked her out! "Thorin! Open this door right now!!" Nattie shouted.  "Go somewhere else to sleep tonight!" Thorin shouted.  "FINE!!" Nattie screamed as she darted away.

Shortly,  Nattie came to Balin and Dwalin's house and knocked on the door.  Balin answered the door, and to Balin's shock, he found Nattie outside, tears falling down her face.  "Nattie, what are you doing here this late?!" exclaimed Balin, gently.  "Thorin locked me out of the house.  We got into a bad fight." sobbed Nattie.  "Damn! Doesn't that lad ever learn?!" barked Dwalin, hotly.  "No, apparently he doesn't!" grumbled Balin, and soon Balin turned his attention to Nattie. "Here, you will stay with us tonight. Tomorrow morning, we're going to get this straightened out.  There is an extra room on the second floor to your right, you can sleep there!" said Balin.  "Thank you so much, Balin! Good night Dwalin!" said Nattie.  "Good night, lassie!" Dwalin called back, as he watched Nattie climb the stairs to the guest home.  "What are we going to do with him?" sighed Balin, rubbing his temple.  "Kick his ass." snarled Dwalin.  An hour later, Thorin charged into Balin and Dwalin's home.

"My friends, my sister's she gone! I went home, to find that her belongings are not there!!" panted Thorin.  "Dwalin, you go with Thorin! I will stay here with Nattie. In which by the way, we're going to have a talk about that later Thorin!" said Balin with a warning to Thorin.  Dwalin and Thorin had left the house while, Balin went down and sat in his armchair, and he continued reading his book.   Meanwhile, as Thorin and Dwalin started their search, Dwalin glared at his friend. "You really created a mess of things, Thorin! You have messed up, big time! On both ends." snapped Dwalin.  "I know, Dwalin---I allowed my temper to get the best of me, and I shouldn't. Not only I gotten my sister upset, but Nattie as well---and I---" began Thorin, sadly.  "You what, Thorin?" said Dwalin.  Thorin had a difficult time of confessing to his friend that he tried to strangle Nattie.  And so he went ahead and confessed to his friend of it.

"YOU DID WHAT?!!" barked Dwalin, angrily. "I swear, Dwalin, I didn't mean to, I was angry--I wasn't thinking straight at the time!" said Thorin.  "You are going to end up losing both  your sister and Nattie forever if you keep this up,  Thorin! And once we find your sister, and VILI! You will have a nice, civil conversation with them, and make amends! Just so you know, Vili is never a thief! From what you hear about him is from gossip! Stop believing in other's people's gossip, Thorin! That is your biggest problem, there!" said Dwalin, as he ended his lecture.   "You are right, Dwalin.  I've been unfair about this whole thing.  And it would make me happy to see my sister happy." said Thorin.  Two hours later,  they saw a light in the distance, as if someone had lit a campfire.  "There is someone camping! Dwalin, go find out who it is. Mahal only knows it could be orcs or goblins." said Thorin.  Dwalin nodded, as he sprinted ahead to check out the source of the camp fire.  When Dwalin peered through the trees, to his surprise, he saw Dis and Vili cuddled up together by the fire.  I've found them! I go and tell Thorin! thought Dwalin,  as he ran back to Thorin.

"I found them, Thorin! They're the ones with the campfire!" exclaimed Dwalin.  "You found my sister and Vili?" asked Thorin.  "Yes!" said Dwalin, and both dwarves stepped out into Dis's and Vili's camp.  "Thorin, what are you doing here?" shouted Dis, standing up, as Vili stood as well, glaring angrily at Thorin.  "We need to talk, Dis---you too Vili!" said Thorin, calmly.  "Oh, so you're coming to apologize then?" said Vili, sarcastically. "Vili, please don't be difficult--he has come to apologize!" said Dwalin, sharply.  Thorin sat down cross legged on the ground, as he given his sister and Vili a formal apology. A slow smile appeared on Dis lips.   "You are forgiven Thorin." said Dis, and both brother and sister hugged.   After they hugged, Vili grinned and shook Thorin's hand.  "I suppose I forgive ye, Master Thorin! I'm glad you came to your senses." said Vili.  "Now let's go back home!" said Thorin.  "Thorin, you're not going home until you make amends with Nattie as well." said Dwalin, firmly.

"Make amends with Nattie?! Thorin, what did you do?" asked Dis, sharply.  "Allow me to explain along the way, Dis!" said Thorin, with a tone of annoyance in his voice.
