Aleks POV

We sat on my bed in comfortable silence for a while before Wolfgang got up, saying that he had some pack business to attend to and would be back later if he could get away. I walked him to the door, watching as he shifted and bounded off into the woods, flashing me a wolfy grin once he reached the edge of the woods. I smiled back and shut the door as he turned away. I walked into the living room and flopped down on the sofa next to Matthew.
"So, is Wolfboy being good? You guys patched things up?" he asked.
"Yep, so you can quit sharpening that knife," I answered, snatching the remote from him. Matthew grumbled as he put his dagger back in his pocket. I flicked through the channels until I found a good movie and stuck it on.
"You want anything to eat, Aleks?" Adam shouted from the doorway.

"Eh, why not?" I replied.
"Ooh, ooh, can I have something please Andy?" Matthew pleaded. Andy didn't reply and walked back into the kitchen. I shrugged at Matthew and turned back to the TV. Andy came in a few minutes later carrying a box of biscuits and a bowl of toffee popcorn. He sat down next to me and offered me the biscuits.
"Thanks And," I smiled.
"Where's mine?" Matthew pouted.

"Get your own food," Andy snapped shoving a handful of popcorn into his mouth. Matthew huffed and pouted on the sofa in silence. I shied and shook my head at the two of them as they argued.

I awoke early the next morning and got ready for school. By then time I was done it was almost half past seven, so I set off for school. I arrived at about eight o'clock, since I still had an hour to spare I made my way to the library to continue my biology investigation. I had almost finished it completely when I heard footsteps storming over to me. I looked up and saw Wolfgang marching over to me with an angry look on his face.
"Where the fuck were you this morning? I went to your house to pick you up and you weren't there! I thought something had happened to you!" he shouted. I flinched and hung my head.
"I-I'm sorry," I whispered.
"For fucks sake Aleks, I was so worried about you! Don't ever do that again, you hear?" I nodded solemnly. Wolfgang sighed and sat down next to me, pulling me onto his lap. "I'm sorry, babe, I was just so scared that something had happened. I'd never forgive myself if I lost you again," he whimpered.

I reached up and kissed his cheek, "I'm sorry for making you worry Wolf, I just wanted to finish off my report and thought you would be busy so didn't want to disturb you. I'm sorry," I mumbled.
"No, I'm sorry, angel," Wolfgang sighed. The bell went a short while later, Wolfgang picking me up and carrying me all the way to class.

At the end of the day, Wolfgang walked me out of the school, stopping at the bottom of the steps. "Go home and get ready for tonight," Wolfgang told me.
"Why what's tonight?" I asked.
"It's the end of year summer ceilidh, and you're going as my date," Wolfgang answered. I stared at him.

"What? No, I can't dance. I don't have anything nice to wear," I exclaimed.
"You're coming with me babe, even if I have to drag you there, which I'd prefer not to do."
"Alright, if I must," I sighed.

"Great I'll pick you up at half six, see you later gorgeous," Wolfgang replied, pecking my forehead quickly before shifting into his wolf form and bounding into the woods, as I started off in the direction of home.

After much deliberation and fighting, my mother finally managed to get me to pick a dress to wear for the ceilidh. She had gone out and bought four that she thought I might like or possibly wear for the dance. We agreed on an ankle length, short sleeve black dress. My mum then put my hair up in a messy bun and put some red lipstick on me. At six o'clock I went downstairs and waited for Wolfgang to arrive. I jumped up from the sofa as I heard the doorbell ring. I opened it to see Wolfgang stood there in a white shirt, black waistcoat and a black kilt.

"You look absolutely beautiful Aleks," Wolfgang smiled down at me. I grinned back up at him.
"You don't look too bad yourself," I replied, smirking.
"Shall we, my love?" Wolfgang asked, holding his arm out.
"We shall," I smiled, taking Wolfgang's arm and walking down the steps towards his truck. He opened the door for me and started driving us to the school. We parked up and got out of the car. Wolfgang took my arm again and led us into the school hall.
We walked into the hall, being greeted by each of Wolfgang's friends and made our way onto the dance floor as the music started. The night went by in a whirl of dancing, food breaks and cuddling at out table. At the end of the night Wolfgang dragged me back onto the floor for the second last dance: a slow dance. We swayed in time with the music, Wolfgang pulling me as close to him as possible, me resting my head on his chest.
"Angel, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah?" I replied, raising my head and looking up at him.
"Will you accept me as your mate and officially become the Luna of my pack?" he asked nervously.
"Yes, of course!" I answered, kissing Wolfgang. We continued dancing as the music slowly faded out and everyone formed a circle to start Auld Lang Syne. I gazed up at Wolfgang as we left the ceilidh and I knew that I would spend the rest of my life loving this wonderful wolf in front of me.
