Aleks’ POV

Wolfgang walked out of the games hall, me trailing behind, still rather fearful of him after the incident in the hall. He glanced over his shoulder and noticed me walking behind him slowly, head hung low. He stopped; I did not notice and kept walking, crashing into him. I bounced off his back and was thrown to the floor. I braced myself for impact with the floor. I opened my eyes and found myself suspended in the air, Wolfgang’s hand in mine, preventing me from hitting the floor. He pulled me up, making me crash into him again. He wrapped his arms around my small body and gently kissed the top of my head.
“Please don’t be afraid of me, Aleks, I can’t bear to see you scared of me,” he said, resting his head on top of mine. I nodded, snuggling into his chest, my face buried in his shoulder. He breathed out a sigh of relief and hugged me tighter.

Our cuddle session was interrupted by the school bell ringing.
“We should probably get to class, Wolfgang,” I mumbled into his chest. He sighed in annoyance and pulled away from me. He nodded and began walking to our class, his arm draped over my shoulder.
“What period is it now?” I asked.
“Uh, I think it’s almost fourth period,” Wolfgang answered scratching his head in confusion. I groaned.
“We missed biology?”
“Yep.”
“Aww… I like biology,” I pouted. Wolfgang chuckled.
“At least we didn’t miss Art,” he said, “look on the bright side.” I glared at him.
“I wouldn’t care if we had missed art, but it’s biology.”
“Oh well, we have it tomorrow anyway,” he said.
“But-but it’s biology,” I moaned.
“It’ll be ok, Aleks, just do some biology at home, or something,” he reassured me. I stuck my tongue out at him. He quickly seized it in his teeth and backed me up against a wall.

He pulled away after a moment smiling down at me, while I gasped for breath.
“I hate you,” I grumbled.
“I love you too, sweetheart, though I did tell you what would happen if you did that again,” he smiled. I scowled at him and stomped off towards art. Wolfgang laughed at my antics and walked after me. He circled his arm around my waist; I scowled at him, wondering how he managed to catch up to me. Then I remembered werewolf speed. I sighed and kept walking, resisting the urge to rest my head on his shoulder. But of course, in this case resistance was futile. I smiled and leant my head against his shoulder. He leaned his head down against mine as we walked down the corridors. The rest of the students in our years stared at us in shock. The popular god of the school and the outcast freak? I know right! What an odd couple, they shouldn’t be together. I sigh and lift my head from Wolfgang’s shoulder, pulling away from him slightly. Unfortunately he knew what I was doing and grasped my hand, dragging me back to his side. He smiled down at me lovingly; I smiled shyly back up at him. When we reached our art class, Wolfgang dropped my hand and opened the door for me, holding it open as he ushered me into the room. I smiled up at him and snuck into the classroom.
I walked over to my desk and sat down, Wolfgang next to me. I took out my art stuff, as did he and we got on with our work.

At the end of the lesson Miss Abrams walked around with a flyer, placing one on everyone’s desk. I picked it up just as the bell went. I walked to the canteen with Wolfgang, via our locker’s reading the flyer as we walked.

“Ooh, that looks good,” I said turning to Wolfgang. He nodded. “Do you wanna go?”
“Kinda busy that night, doing… stuff…” he mumbled.
“Oh,” I replied, hanging my head embarrassedly, of course he wouldn’t want to go with me.
“You sure you don’t want to go?”
“I can’t, sorry, my love,” he answered.
“Do you want me to film it for you?”
“Nah, it’s cool.”
“Okay, then.”
“I’ll meet you at your locker at the end of the day; I’m taking you somewhere,” Wolfgang smiled.
“Can we stop off at the bank so I can get some money out?” I asked.
“Sure. By the way, if it’s for the gig on Saturday don’t bother,” he said.
“Why not?”
“Here,” he replied passing me a ticket to the concert.
“Why are you giving me this?”
“I was given it to give to a friend.”
“Why?”
“Each band member playing gets a free ticket to give to someone,” he answered.
“You’re playing on Saturday? Which band?”
“Harbingers of the Apocalypse,” he replied.
“You’re in a band and you never told me?” I asked raising an eyebrow at him.
“M-maybe,” he answered.
“Why not?” I asked.
“Didn’t know whether you’d want to see us or not,” he replied.
“What do you play?”
“Lead guitar and backing vocals, occasionally I might do half the song or little parts of it for certain songs.”
"Awesome, what do you play?”
“I just told you.”
“No, what type of music do you play?”
“Oh, anything metal really, from Suicide Silence and Bring Me The Horizon, to Black Veil Brides and Of Mice And Men,” he replied.
“Awesome. I can’t wait to see you guys,” I smiled. Wolfgang laughed and tucked me under his arm as we walked to the canteen.

I sat down at the table with my lunch, Wolfgang plopping into the seat next to me. I folded up the flyer and put it in my bag, placing the ticket carefully in my wallet.
“You get a ticket too?” Samantha asked me. I nodded in response as I opened up my salad box. “You going?”
“Yeah, you?” I asked.
“Course, wouldn’t miss seeing my Jack play drums,” she smiled, leaning over and kissing Jack’s cheek.
“You’re in Harbingers of the Apocalypse as well?” I asked.
“We all are, Daniel is the vocalist, Caine is the rhythm guitarist, Wolfgang lead guitarist, Jack drums and I’m the bassist,” Scott answered.
“Thanks for telling me that,” I scowled at Wolfgang. He looked sheepish and hung his head. Heh, a wolf looking sheepish, wow most ironic thing I’ve ever said.
“Sorry, sweetie,” he mumbled.
“You better be,” I glared at him. He nodded his head and kissed my head.
“Ha! You are so whipped, mate!” Daniel exclaimed, laughing.
“I am not!” Wolfgang growled.
“You so totally are!” Jack chimed in.
“You can’t talk! So are you,” Caine retorted.
“Shut up,” Jack grumbled. I laughed and heard a slight cough. I looked around the table and saw Samantha glancing at me. She kept jerking her head slightly.
“I’m just gonna nip to the loo, I’ll be back in a sec,” I said getting up from the table.
“No,” Wolfgang said. “Remember what happened last time?”
“It’s ok, I’ll go with her, I need the loo anyway,” Samantha spoke up. Wolfgang reluctantly nodded and sat back down.

“So, what did you want?” I asked Samantha as we reached the toilets.
“Do you wanna help the guys prove how whipped Wolfgang is?” she asked.
“Uh… I’m not sure.”
“Oh go on, it’ll be fun. I’ll do the same with Jack,” she smiled.
“Hmm… ok then,” I answered.
“Good, so here’s what we’ll do,” Samantha said, leaning in and plotting our little trick.

We walked back to the table about five minutes later, finding the guys in the same place we left them, except Wolfgang.
“Where’s Wolfgang?” I asked as we sat down.
“Right here, sweet pea,” he said, wrapping his arms around me from behind. I jumped and spun to face him.
“Don’t do that!” I snapped, playfully punching his arm. Wolfgang laughed, leaning down and pecking my cheek. I grumbled at him before turning to Samantha. She nodded at me. I smirked at her as we left our plan unfold.
