 Aleks' P.O.V

I managed to survive the rest of the lesson and avoid Wolfgang for the rest of the day, until he walked into the library at the end of the day... and came straight over to me. Great, I thought I had managed to lose him. I sighed and put my head down in a vain attempt to hide from him.
"Oh, hello Aleksandryja. Fancy running into you here," his deep voice said. I felt my face heating up and kept my head down. He pulled out a chair, the scraping of its legs against the tiled floor hurting my ears. I winced slightly at the noise but refrained from looking at him.
"What ya doin'?" he asked, propping his head on his hands.
"Biology," I mumbled.
"Cool. So how are you?"
"Fine," I mumbled, turning to glance at him. I saw that he was looking at me intently, his gaze boring into mine. My face turned crimson and I quickly spun my face away from his eyes. He chuckled quietly.
"Why am I only getting monosyllabic answers from you?" he asked. I shrugged, hoping he would take the hint. "Do you not want to talk to me? Is that it?" Finally, he gets it. "Well sorry to disappoint you, but I am staying right here." I groaned silently. "What's wrong, Aleks? Do you not like me?" he asked; he sounded slightly hurt.
"I just want to finish my work, that's all," I answered. 
"I am annoying you aren't I? You really do not like me, do you?" he whispered. 
I turned to look at him. He had his head down facing the table, his body language showed how upset he was... at the thought that I did not like him!? I tentatively reached out and placed my hand on his arm. I snatched my hand away as I felt shocks travel up my arm. I stared at his arm, then at my hand. 
"What?" I whispered to myself. 
"I said: you do not like me do you?" he repeated, clenching his teeth slightly. How did he hear me? 
"No, I do like you, it's just, I don't know why you're talking to me; no one else does," I mumbled. Wolfgang sighed and looked at me. 
"Well they don't know what they're missing not talking to you," he replied. I stared at him. He flashed me a grin that made my heart stop. 
"You're the only one that thinks that," I whispered, "everyone else hates me, and I don't know why." I heard him growl lowly. I glanced at him wondering if I had imagined the noise. He opened his mouth to say something just as the door to the library crashed open.

"Hey, Wolfgang! You in here?" I heard a voice shout. Wolfgang sighed, before turning and hollering back. 
"Over here! I'll be with you in a sec." he turned back to me looking like he was willing his friends to leave.  
"There you are, what you doin' in a library mate?" his friend Caine asked as three of his friends walked over. 
"Oh, you're talking to a girl huh? What ya talkin' 'bout?" Scott asked. Wolfgang turned to him with a 'would you just fuck off' face. 
"Nothing much, just talking," Wolfgang answered. The door slammed again, sounding almost like it had been smashed into. 
"How dare you cheat on your mate Wolfgang? You should be talking to her not some random slut!" Daniel bellowed, his voice ringing through the empty room. Wolfgang sighed and glared at the new arrival with a look that said 'die bitch'. Daniel walked over and stood next to the others. 
"Oh, you are talking to her... never mind," Daniel said trailing off as he saw me. I looked at him confused, wondering what he was on about. Must be an inside joke or something. I decide to pack up all my stuff and head off before it got any more awkward. Wolfgang turned, noticing me packing up. 
"Where are you going?" 
"I need to get home, sorry," I mumbled. He reached out and grabbed my hand as I walked past. 
"Please don't go, not just yet," he said. I shook my head. 
"Sorry, I have to go, my mum will be worried. Sorry," I replied. He sighed and nodded, letting go of my hand. 
"I'll speak to you tomorrow, ok?" he asked, a pleading look on his face. 
"Sure," I muttered. He flashed me that heart-stopping smile of his. I smiled back and turned, exiting the library and walking home.

Wolfgang's POV

"Thanks guys, you just ruined that," I sighed. Daniel looked confused. 
"Ruined what?" 
"I was finally having a conversation with my mate and you lot just had to appear and you just had to make it awkward," I snapped at Daniel. 
"Sorry, mate." 
"Why are you even here? I thought you were 'taking the day off'," I said. 
"Thought you said you had found a new toy to play with," Caine wondered. 
"Yeah, I did, then I heard Wolfy talking to some girl and thought I might have a bit of fun and hint that he had found his mate. Didn't realise that you were talking to her man, sorry," Daniel replied. 
"Well done, mate," I sighed. 
"Didn't know she was a human though, thought she'd be a wolf," Daniel continued. 
"Yeah, well, she is human." 
"You ok with that? I mean seriously, there's like three humans in the school and she's one of them," Jack asked. 
"Of course I'm ok with it. Why wouldn't I be?" 
"It doesn't matter. You guys wanna go for a run?" Scott suggested. I nodded. 
"Aye, let's go." I got up and left the library followed by the guys.
