Nikki's P.o.v.
I woke up on the morning of my birthday to realize I had gotten a wish the night before from my favorite daytime actor Ryan Jacob Paevey.  I knew I had to work today but I was so ecstatic about the tweet.  He was an hour early but I didn't care.  I loved it so much.  I had wanted to go to the Chicago fan event but didn't have the money anymore and didn't have the transportation.

Living the life of a not so rich young woman with ADD and migraines kind of made life in the Midwest suck.

I had always dreamt of meeting Ryan one day but the whole not driving thing made it difficult.

During my work day I was packed with dishes upon dishes to wash at school for grandparents day and that just made me wish I was able to watch General Hospital.

When I was finally able to I felt so happy.

I noticed all my tweets from various people saying "happy birthday" and feeling the love made me happy.

Ryan and Kirsten had been so cute today and I loved it.

I noticed I never got anything from Ryan's friend Mike Viruet which kind of made me wonder if he gave a shit but I was so into Ryan it didn't bother me much.

I wondered if I ever met Ryan could I tell him how much I liked him, respected him, appreciated everything he does, and how cute he is.

These thoughts filled my head as I went to see the movie Everest with my friend Mandy and by the time I finished the film and my bogo ice cream that someone had tweeted me.

I read it like ten times "Hi Nicole I want you to be a special guest next week in Chicago."

I couldn't believe my eyes for a second and had to keep re reading it.

I replied to this tweeter and asked "Are you serious?"

The person said "Yes.  Happy birthday.  I think it was me and Finola who hadn't said it yet."

I replied "Oh wow Will!  That's so sweet."

Just then Finola tweeted "We'd love to have you at the event!  Happy birthday Nicole!"

I replied to her quickly "Oh wow.  Thanks guys!"

I had to think this over and try to figure out transportation when suddenly another message appeared "There will be a car picking you up to bring you down."

I thought "Wow they've thought of everything."

One problem stood in my way... My mom.

She didn't like me traveling alone especially not to Chicago.

She hated Chicago.

I loved everything about the city.  The skyline, the bustling streets, the river, the lake, the shops, the beaches, etc.

I tried to sleep but I couldn't.  I was way too excited about the idea of meeting Laura Wright, Tyler Christopher, Finola Hughes, William deVry and Ryan Paevey.

Mainly about Ryan since he was so sweet and handsome.

I had no clue if he was in on this plan to get me to the event but I was excited to finally meet him.
