Part 3

Nikkis p.o.v. -
I let out a scream when I read this message from William deVry.  I of course had to pick out something cute to wear yet comfortable.  I wanted a good hairstyle and also some items for the cast to sign.  I finally put together my other video for Ryan using the song "Nature Boy" from David Bowie and put it on a disc.

I spent all day Thursday just thinking what to say to Ryan and what to have him sign.

I spent all day Friday getting ready to go to Chicago. 

On Friday evening I heard a car honk and it picked me up to head down.

I was ready to go with all my stuff and got in the car.

I spent hours on my phone and messaging Will the whole way.

By the time I arrived in Chicago the vehicle stopped in front of a hotel and I got out.

I walked in the door and a man approached me "Nicole right?  I'm glad you made it."

I said "I didn't expect to see you yet."

The man said "We got here a night early."

I said "Thank you so much for everything."

Will said "No problem.  So how familiar with Chicago are you?"

I said "I grew up here so even though I moved when I was 5 I still know the city fairly well."

Will said "That's cool.  Maybe you could show Ryan around."

I thought "Did he just ask me to show Ryan around Chicago?"

After about ten minutes Will asked "Hello?  Earth to Nicole.  Did you hear me?"

I said "Oh sorry.  Yes.  I just got lost in thought."

Will said "Well go to room 526 and knock."

I walked to the elevator and found room 526.  I knocked nervously on the door and asked "Hello?"

Finally someone came to the door in a towel having just stepped out of the shower and said with a cute smile "Hi!  Did Will send you?"

I was thrown for a moment and said "I'm Nikki.  I guess he did.  I'm not sure why."

Ryan said "Well I want to see the city.  I need a guide to show me things. Just give me a moment to put something on."

I turned around giving Ryan a second to throw on a We Are All Smith shirt + hoodie and jeans.

I turned back around, put out my hand and said "Well follow me then."

He followed me down the elevator and out the door. 

Ryan's p.o.v. -
I just met this beautiful woman named Nikki and all I knew was that she was familiar with Chicago.  I knew basically nothing about her but I wanted to.  I didn't know how she got to the event but that didn't matter to me. 

I walked with her through the streets of Chicago heading downtown and exploring the city.  We walked toward grant park and watched the fountain change colors in the sunset filled sky.

The colors of the sky and dim sunlight on the water was just so beautiful and the whole excursion was just better than me being alone since I had this beautiful woman with me.

I knew how to appreciate nature but I also knew how to appreciate a beautiful woman too.

I could tell she was a bit nervous around me so I decided to ask "So when did you move away?"

Nikki answered "I was about 5."

I then asked "How many cities have you lived?"

Nikki answered "I think maybe 6 if you include suburbs as separate cities."

I looked into her eyes which I realized made her uncomfortable since she had clearly not had much experience with guys and said "Did Will set this up?"

Nikki said (unable to hide a single detail) "Yes!  All of it."

I asked "What do you mean by all of it?"

Nikki said "He figured out how to get me to Chicago, my ticket for tomorrow, my travel, my hotel room, he told me what room you were in to go do this..."
