Part 6

Ryan's p.o.v. -
I looked into Nikki's eyes as she sat there thinking wondering what was filling her mind. Was she thinking about me as much as I was about her? Was she imagining the two of us sharing a kiss or something more? My mind, my heart and my soul wanted nothing but to know every possible thing there was about Nikki.

Laura tried to get my attention but I was too lost in this beautiful woman who accompanied me to both Chicago and Cleveland. I was so lost I didn't know if anyone could break my attention but suddenly a loud alarm went off leading us to all leave the building.

The fire alarm had been set off and we had our stuff still with us.

Once outside I set down my bag and pulled her close to me wrapping my arms around her waist as she nervously wondered if anyone was left inside the smoky building.

Will said "I'm surprised anything broke your attention from that stare you two had."

Nikki said "I smelled smoke and it was more noticeable than the alarm itself."

I wasn't going to let go of her now that we could have been caught up in the hotel fire making me move closer to her using that moment to propel my lips onto hers.

Nikki's p.o.v. -
Ryan was so close to my face it almost scared me but the moment his lips touched mine I felt this amazing heat and fire. The fact that my first real kiss was with Ryan Paevey was by all means not what I expected. It was so much better. His lips burned mine with every brush as I thought "Wow he may truly be the perfect man. He is an amazing kisser."

All those thoughts led me to wonder "How is he in bed? If he's that good at kissing a woman I can only imagine how he is at making love."

In all the rushing out of the building we never thought to wonder where they would have the event. They couldn't exactly hold in it a burned up hotel. Once the kiss stopped I noticed Laura Finola Tyler and Will on the phone figuring out what would happen.

In the morning a woman approached us after staying in a nearby hotel stating all the details of the new location.

Ryan asked me "Are you ready? It can be crazy."

I said "Well I did see how it was in Chicago. If possible I think we should explore after the event is over."

Ryan smiled at me "You read my mind."

Right before the moment the fans appeared I kissed Ryan's cheek quickly.

My eyes were locked on my gorgeous friend and wondered "Does he want to date me? That kiss was amazing. If he did I wouldn't be against it. I would love to date him and kiss him more."

As I stood or sat there watching Ryan meet and greet fans I smiled as I thought of all the things we could do after the event was over. I wanted him to be finished but I also would never pull him away from his fans.

The moment the event was over Ryan took my hand saying "Would you like to go explore now?"

I smiled before asking "As your friend or what?"

He took my hand and brought it to his lips "I would like to consider it a date."
