Rosalia's bedroom!!!!
Hey you guys! I love the picture of this room I found . It's so pretty!!!! It just screams princess, doesn't it? Anyways, hope you enjoy this chapter, and there's one more on the way today! So...enjoy!
I woke up to see the sunlight streaming into my room and illuminating everything with a pretty warm glow. I yawned and stretched lazily and looked around thoughtfully. It had been so long since I'd just taken the time to relax in the mornings. For so long I'd had to get up early to make breakfast and get Maddie to school before rushing to get to work myself barely even managing to get dressed. It almost felt too good to be true, and the other part of me...a very small part was truly happy.
Now that Maddie was truly being taken care of I would be content to see her enjoy herself and yet at the same time not have to worry about being the one to always take care of her like before. It was a good feeling that took at least one load off of my shoulders.
The rest of the load, however, was still there. You know the whole getting married to my supposed childhood friend who's been love with me since forever and if I don't I will risk not only angering Dad, but his wife, my grandparents, and of course probably completely breaking his heart along the way. But no biggy...I totally know what I'm doing, right?
Ha! I wish! The only thing I was sure of right now was that I couldn't get married. I don't care about what I had to as long as it didn't happen. Now I just had to come up with a plan. I had 2-3 months to do so. I only hoped that was enough time.
I looked at the clock next to me on the white nightstand and saw I'd slept in. It was 10:30 am and I wondered when the last time I'd slept this late had been.
I resolved not to think about it for now when Olivia and Grace walked in with a tray of food with them. They were all smiles and cheerfulness that it was almost impossible not to feel happier myself.
They curtsied before helping me out out bed and leading me to the vanity where they let me eat a bit of food while they got me ready for the day. Olivia gently brushed my hair. Grace headed to the closet and came out with a pair of tight tan pants, a fitted white blouse, black riding jacket, and black riding boots.
They let me dress in the bathroom and then sat me down once more to do my hair and makeup. They left my hair down but added a bit of product to moisturize it but left it loose. My makeup was the same as yesterday except they applied a bit of BB cream with SPF instead of regular foundation probably because if judging by my outfit I was going to learn how to ride a horse outside.
A half hour later they deemed me perfect and there was a knock on my door. Olivia went to go open it and there was Nathan in his own riding clothes as well.
He smiled and asked if I was ready. Olivia beamed and said I was and I went with him towards the stables where all the horses greeted us.
Nathan motioned for me to follow him and there was a an older man waiting for us. He bowed as we approached and then straightened up and said," Good morning."
"Good morning," we both answered.
He smiled kindly at me," You must be Princess Rosalia."
I grimaced," Yes, I am."
He laughed," Still getting used to it?"
I nodded sheepishly," Pretty much."
He smiled reassuringly," Don't worry you were born to be a princess."
I smiled uncertainly.
"I'm Mr. Burch," he said," Your riding instructor. Your father and brother tell me you already have your horse."
