My eyes scanned the room around me. Dan looked over and smiled lovingly at me. I was too in awe, however, to see the look he gave me.
"You know, it's so cute to see you like this." Dan smiled. I broke from my trance, blushing like mad.
"I'm just really excited!" I giggled. Dan smiled wider and kissed the top of my head.
"I'm glad." He replied, linking our hands together. He began to swing our hands around, making me giggle.
My boyfriend of four years and I were going to Mile High Horror Fest. We were both major movie buffs, so we figured this would be a fun way to kick off October and Halloween.
We started watching the movies. Goosebumps had a special early screening, so that was kind of cool. Some of the movies weren't all that good. Only a few were actually good.
"Well, babe, what should we do now?" Dan asked. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight. "Should we just go to bed for tomorrow or what?"
"Can we get some dinner?" I asked.
"Sure." Dan smiled.
We went to eat, then went back home, as we lived not to far from the Alamo Drafthouse, where the movies were playing. When we got home, we cuddled with Yugo, Fischer, and Cooper, as well as each other. I couldn't wait to do this all over again tomorrow, then the next day, and end it all the next day. Watching spooky movies with my loving boyfriend was the best way to start off my October.
