It was Halloween night and Jordan was working late. I had spent the entire day watching scary movies, waiting for my boyfriend to come home. I wasn't all too upset because this happened often, but I was a tad bit hurt because he promised to spend Halloween with me.
Finally, Jordan came home. His hair was disheveled and he looked nervous. I frowned.
"What's wrong, Jor?" I asked.
"I'm sorry I'm late... I was.. thinking." He said softly.
"Thinking about what?" I asked. I was hoping he wasn't going to dump me on Halloween...
Jordan sighed and came over to me. He got down on one knee, holding a black box in his hand.
"I know how much you love Halloween... So... I was hoping you'd marry me... We can get married on Halloween next year, if you want. I just... I want you to marry me.." Jordan said.
I smiled wide. "Really?!"
Jordan nodded. "Yes, really. (Y/N) (Y/L/N), will you marry me?"
"Of course, Jordan!" I said. He grinned and jumped up, pulling me into his arms. He hugged me tightly, then pulled me into a tight kiss.
Jordan slipped the diamond engagement ring onto my finger, the both of us admiring it. It was beautiful.
"Happy Halloween, babe." Jordan smiled, pecking my lips.
"Best Halloween ever!" I gushed, hugging my boy- fiance tight.
"I love you, so much." Jordan whispered.
"I love you, too." I replied, kissing him. Tonight was about to get even better.
