It was our first Halloween in Florida, and what was the first thing Sly and I did? We bought costumes from the pet store and dressed up the puppies.
Puppycop was obviously in a cop outfit. Puppychef was in a chef costume. Puppynurse was dressed as a cute little nurse. And, here's the kicker, Puppyretailsalesman wasn't a retail salesman. He was a pretty princess. It's not like they sell retail salesman costumes anywhere! Plus, the pretty princess outfit was the only thing in his size.
"Awww, look at out Pretty Princess Retail Salesman!" Eddie giggled his golden giggle, Retail Salesman sitting at his feet. He looked up at his owner and Sly laughed harder.
"Poor buddy," I said, petting him. "You make a cute little princess," I kissed Puppyretailsalesman on his nose and got up, hearing the doorbell ring. I opened the door, giving a couple of kids their candy, and sat back down on the couch.
"Why did we dress the dogs up, but not ourselves?" I asked, laughing slightly. Sly shrugged.
"You can always be a naked girl," He winked. I laughed and shook my head.
"In your wet dreams, Sly Fox!" I said, kissing his cheek. He turned his head so we ended up kissing.
I pulled back as the doorbell rang. I groaned slightly. Ugh, kids and their need for candy.
"I've got it." Sly giggled, getting up and handing out candy. The puppies found the candy dish, whining to get into it. Eddie, being himself, sneaked them a treat, but one that was good for them.
"Let's go cuddle!" Sly yelled, running back to me on the couch. Of course, all of the puppies followed him, so the six of us all cuddled up on the couch together, enjoying our first Florida Halloween comfortably.
